Easter Bunny Meet and Greet

If you’re ready to meet Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, you can find them on Main Street in Magic Kingdom Park. Often stationed between the Chamber of Commerce and City Hall buildings. This pair dresses up in their Sunday best and is ready for pictures. A Disney PhotoPass photographer is available, but you can also request a photo be taken with your phone as well.

Disney Easter Parade

Special for Easter day, the Easter Procession happens on Main Street in Magic Kingdom in the afternoon before the Festival of Fantasy Parade. With appearances from Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, Daisy Duck, Thumper, Bambi, White Rabbit, Clara Cluck, and other springtime friends, this is a must-see Easter Parade at Walt Disney World. It includes the songs Easter Parade, and Spring, Spring, Spring

Spring Trolley Show

Just like in the fall, the Main Street Trolley gets dressed up for the season! And all the dancers and citizens of Main Street put on their Sunday best. With spring colors in fashion, you can find extra fun and spring-themed songs during the holiday.

Easter Church Service at Disney World

Offered on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter, you can find Church Services at Walt Disney World for Easter. Previously in 2021, a religious service was offered at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, in the Fantasia Ballroom, typically 8 am and 10:30 am for Catholic Mass, and 9:15 am for Protestant Service. In 2022, however, the on-site church service was replaced by the option for live stream church services from two local churches, or guests could travel to the nearby churches for in-person service. Stay tuned for the 2023 church service at Disney World info.

Handling Spring and Easter Crowds at Walt Disney World

We talk a lot about the ways you can Avoid the Crowds at Walt Disney World.  And as April is one of the most expensive and most crowded months to travel to Disney if you’re visiting, here are some things to know! Check the Walt Disney World Calendar of Events for details.

Tips for Easter at Walt Disney World

Plan

Plan your days before you go. Nothing beats a good plan. from deciding where to eat, to which rides you want to try. Knowing this ahead of time can help you prioritize the important stuff, so you don’t find yourself waiting in lines all day. Grab our Walt Disney World Checklists and Printable to get a handle on what each day of your Disney Vacation looks like.

Have a Ride Strategy

If you’re visiting Walt Disney World during the busiest time of year and hoping to ride a few favorite rides, have a Disney Ride Strategy! Head to popular rides during the 12-2 pm lunch hour when most people are eating or hoping to their next park. If you have a must-do ride and can’t sacrifice a long wait in line, purchase the Disney Genie+ service for the day or Individual LightLane Pass for that ride.

Take Advantage of Early Theme Park Entry

If you’re staying at a Disney Resort you get access to the parks 30 minutes before everyone else with Early Theme Park Entry. To take true advantage of this we recommend being at the gates 30 or 45 minutes before early theme park entry begins, that way you can be at the FRONT of the line. This can help you race to your favorite ride and get the best place in line.

Book Easter Brunch at Walt Disney World

If you’re visiting on Easter Day, the parks are BUSY, which means the best dining reservations would have already been booked 60 days prior by other guests. And because it’s one of the busiest times of the year, lines at quick-service restaurants will be extra long. Why not book Brunch at Walt Disney World to help you get out of the crowds and relax? Many of our favorite Disney Restaurants for Brunch are located at Resorts. And Disney does offer a special brunch for Easter at a few select locations, shared above in this post.

Celebrating Easter at Walt Disney World

If you’re heading to Walt Disney World this Easter season there are tons of fun things to do, see and eat. Make sure to pick your favorites and add them to your itinerary!

Easter at Walt Disney World is all abotu springtime, new Snacks, fun games, and beautifully decorated eggs across resorts! Check out everything to do at Disney World this Easter. #polkadotpixies #disneyeaster #disneyfamily

    • Hi there! Typically Disney Easter events happen Easter weekend only. And it’s generally only at certain resorts. Some resort restaurants will serve special meals, or have a craft available, but it’s definitely not at all the resorts. You may want to call the resort at which you’re considering staying to see if they have an established lineup of activities. Hope that helps.
