Best Pools at Disney World at Where to Find Them

Best Pools at Disney World at Where to Find Them

When you’re planning a Disney World vacation, choosing a resort can be tough! There are so many good options to choose from, but which is best? Well, if you’re planning on spending time at your resort, then the resort pool may be something to consider.  We are sharing the best pools at Disney World to help you decide which one is right for you!

Best Pools at Disney World

“Best” is always subjective, right? Right. But, when it comes to the best pools at Disneyworld, some pools just offer more than others. We’ve rounded up our top pools at Disney so you can see for yourself which is in fact the best. Now these aren’t ranked in any specific order because honestly, I am just too indecisive for that. If you’re new to Disney resorts, just a reminder that Disney pools are only meant for guests staying there. So if you want to enjoy one of these pools, be sure to book a room!

Disney's Beach Club Resort Pool, Stormalong Bay

Stormalong Bay at Yacht and Beach Club

Not a shock to anyone, but Stormalong Bay at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club is obviously at the very top of the list. Often the reason many are willing to spend as much as Yacht and Beach Club room prices demand, this pool is by far on of the absolute best pools at Disneyworld. Stormalong Bay is the perfect vacation destination when it’s hot out. And even when it’s a bit chilly!

Complete with a very cool, 230-foot Pirate Ship water slide, lazy river and 3 whirlpool spas. And one of the best parts? The pool area not only has sandy sections for lounging as well as sandy areas for the kids to play in, but the pool itself has a sandy bottom. So, if you’re trying to get your beach fix, but in Central Florida instead of on the coast, this is as close to the real thing as you’ll probably get!

Lava Pool at Disney’s Polynesian Resort

Disney’s Polynesian Resort is an oasis really. With soft, white sandy beaches, relaxing music, and views of Magic Kingdom, this has been one of our favorite Disney resorts for some time. We love resort hopping at Disney here to escape the chaos of the Parks at times during midday breaks and grab a dole whip, of course. And aside from everything else that makes this resort so wonderful, their pool is just fantastic. The Lava Pool at the Polynesian Resort not only has a zero entry point, but it also features a 142-foot-long waterslide. And the pool is surrounded by lush greenery that makes you really feel like you’re living your best island life.

Caribbean Beach Resort Pool

Fuentes Del Morro Pool at Caribbean Beach Resort

People have very mixed opinions when it comes to Caribbean Beach Resort. Sure, the addition of the Skyliner, new restaurants and the new Little Mermaid rooms have made the resort more appealing to more people. But it’s still a huge resort. And regardless of how you feel about the resort itself, the pool is very cool. With two waterslides, one that’s over 100 ft long, this pool area is themed to that of a Colonial Spanish Fortress. With water canons that adds to the fun, this pool is always a hit with guests. And it has a great splash area for kids, which is designed as a pirate shipwreck area.

Coronado Springs Resort

Dig Site at Coronado Springs – Lost City of Cibola Pool

Coronado Springs Resort is another resort that people either love or hate. It’s huge, the conferences can make some people uncomfortable there, and the busses are usually packed to the brim. But it’s also home to Gran Destino Tower. Which has brought along with it new restaurants and lounges. Really making it a little bit of a destination all its own. At the Dig Site, you’ll find that the Lost City of Cibola Pool at Coronado is often touted as one of the best pools at Disney World. One thing we love about it? It’s not near the main building. This is great because it really splits up the congestion that can tend to happen when everything is so close together.

Themed to Mayan Ruins, the pyramid that graces this pool is 50 ft tall! The Dig Site also has the largest hot tub at Disneyworld that can hold 22 people. In the Dig Site area, you’ll also find a white sand beach for volleyball, Siesta’s Pool Bar and the Iguana Arcade. The layout of the Dig Site makes it easy to enjoy more than just the pool.

So, what do you think is the BEST pool at Disney? Did your top pick make our list?

The Best Pools at Disney World. A really picky list.
