Animal Kingdom often gets labeled as a half-day park. While we disagree, if you’re in a group of people who feel this way, you might find yourself wanting something quick to eat. But it’s good to have a plan! Read on for the best quick-service restaurants at Animal Kingdom

Dining at Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom has some fun and unique dining options. One of our favorites, Nomad Lounge, is a must-do for us almost every time we visit. They also have fun character dining at Tusker House, and an elevated dining option at Tiffins for those with more adventurous tastes. But if you’re just looking for something quick and easy, they have great options for that too! With a slew of Quick Service Animal Kingdom options for you to grab a quick bite or budget-friendly meal, here’s our list of the Disney World Best Quick Service options in Animal Kingdom.
What is a Quick Service Restaurant at Walt Disney World?
Quick Service restaurants at Walt Disney World are a little like fast food restaurants. They’re generally pretty quick and usually reasonably priced, being a great option for those on a budget. Or those who don’t want to spend the time at a sit-down meal. Food tends to be lower quality than table service meals, and they often don’t have a ton of seating. But they are a great alternative to the more expensive options. And perfect for a busier day.

Satu’li Canteen
Satu’li Canteen is one of our absolute favorite restaurants at Animal Kingdom. We’d go so far as to say that it may be the best quick-service restaurant at Walt Disney World. Located in Pandora, this restaurant serves up healthier options that are filling and delicious. And we love the unique presentation of their desserts. They have indoor and outdoor seating. And we’ve never struggled to find a place to sit. The food tastes fresh and high quality. And if “healthy” doesn’t sound appealing, don’t worry, they also have Cheeseburger pods that are steamed in Bao Buns. To see the Satu’li Canteen Menu, click here.
Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes
Yak and Yeti is a table service restaurant at Animal Kingdom. But reservations can be tough to get, and sometimes you just don’t want to invest the time required for a table service experience. And that’s OK! Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes have you covered. With a similar menu to the table service version, this quick service spot at Animal Kingdom tends to be pretty popular. They also serve breakfast, which is rare for quick service in Animal Kingdom, and great if you want something a little more filling. With dishes like Teriyaki, vegetarian Tikki Masala, and Korean chicken, it’s not shocking that the lines can get quite long here. And if you’re traveling on a budget or have a small appetite, you can grab a side of egg rolls or fried rice. Seating is outside, but mostly shaded. Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes Menu can be found here.
Flame Tree Barbeque
Flame Tree Barbeque has gotten a little less crowded in the last few years, but it’s still a great choice for those who love meat. And barbeque, of course. Their menu mostly consists of barbeque pork and chicken. And they do have one plant-based option on their menu. Seating is all outdoors, but there is plenty of it. And most of it’s in the shade. They also serve a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, along with fun non-alcoholic specialty drinks as well. Check out the Flame Tree Barbeque menu here.
Eight Spoon Cafe
Although technically a snack location, we think Eight Spoon Cafe could potentially count as Quick Service, especially if you have a smaller appetite. It actually has some of the best Savory Snacks at Disney World. The menu is small and consists mostly of mac and cheese and pulled pork items. Their pulled pork jelly doughnut sandwich is a slider size but add in a side of their mac and cheese and you have a budget meal. A carb-heavy one, but hey we aren’t here to judge. They aren’t always open and there’s no seating because it’s just a stand, but if you love mac and cheese, it’s a great place to try with usually just a small wait. See the menu for Eight Spoon Cafe here
Harambe Market
Harambe Market’s menu has changed over the years. And with that, some of its more popular menu items have disappeared. But we are hoping that as Walt Disney World returns to a more normal state of things, some of those items may come back. Situated as an open-air plaza, this quick service is currently only available for a small amount of time during the day. Their signature rice bowls are what people come here for, and they make a great meal for under $15. And the large seating area is a nice plus! Check out the menu for Harambe Market here.
