Differences Between Disney Castaway Club Levels

As you can see from the breakdown, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Pearl come with 1, 2, 3, and 4-day Early Access to new itineraries. This is a HUGE deal when hoping to take advantage of new Ports of Call. When Hawaii opened up as a port location this past year, the cruises were booked full within hours. If you’re not seeking new Ports of Call, the 1,2, and 3-day advance notice that a cruise is open may not be a huge deal. At present all itineraries except Hawaii have plenty of booking room.

Early booking for Shore Excursions and Palo are somewhat a take or leave perk depending on where you’re going. For our Nassau, Bahamas Cruise, we didn’t book an excursion simply because we all had to be back on the boat by 2 pm, after docking early that morning. And this isn’t a discount on your excursion or dinner, just the ability to book early. Check out our Tips for Booking Cruise Excursions.

And as a Platinum or Pearl member you get a Free dinner at Palo, and concierge priority boarding at check-in, along with ‘special surprises”. This also is something to get excited about… because dinner at Palo is pricey! So it’s a nice perk.
