But with Dining Plans temporarily paused as a result of the pandemic the big question of when will they return has been followed by, will Disney Free Dining be offered? Thankfully, as things return to “normal,” Disney Free Dining may soon return too! We’ll keep this post updated with Free Dining Promo Dates as they show up this year.

Disney Dining Plan Details for 2022

Disney Dining Plans in 2022 are temporarily paused. This means you are on your own when it comes to figuring out your Disney dining budget. But, if dining Plans we’re available then there is a good chance the Free Dining Plan offer would at some point show up. As a result, this information would be found on the Disney Special Offers page. The Disney FREE Dining Plan is generally offered when you purchase a non-discounted 5-night/6-day vacation package including a Room at Select Disney Resort Hotels and a Ticket WITH the Park Hopper Option.

When are Disney Free Dining Promotions Offered?

Traditionally Disney Free Dining is offered in early January, April, and ahead of the fall season. But of course, these times have changed throughout the years. So always keep an eye on the Disney Special Offers page.

What’s Included in the Disney FREE DINING Offer?

Refillable Mug: eligible for refills at self-service beverage islands at Quick-Service locations at any Disney Resort hotel. Note: You cannot refill your mugs up in the parks.
A Dining Plan based on your booked resort.

For this deal there are 2 Dining Plan options included depending on which resort you book, here is the breakdown.

What types of Disney Dining Plans are there?

You can check out our Disney Dining Plans Quick Guide Post for all the details on the types of Disney Dining Plans and what they include. There are currently 4 types of Disney Dining Plans, though not all of them are included in the Disney Free Dining Plan Offer.

Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan will allow you a refillable drink mug for use at the resorts, 2 quick service meals, and 2 snacks per person.
Disney Dining Plan. The Disney Dining Plan also allows you a refillable drink mug for use at the resorts, 1 quick service meal, 1 table service meal which includes dessert, and 2 snacks per person.
Disney Dining Plan Plus *NEW.* The newest dining plan at Disney allows you a refillable drink mug for use at the resorts, 2 Meals – Any combination of Table-Service and Quick-Service (per night of stay) 2 Snacks/Nonalcoholic Drinks (per night of stay)
Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. The most expensive Dining Plan at Disney allows you 3 meals, 2 snacks, and again, the refillable mug.

The Disney Dining Plan Offer Resorts and Rules

When the Disney Free Dining Plan is offered, there are rules in place. For example, if your Disney Vacation package includes one of the resorts below then you get the basic Disney Dining Plan which includes 1 Quick-Service Meal, 1 Table-Service meal, and 2 snacks or non-alcoholic beverages Per Person, Per night of your stay. Plan details. It is only valid if the Offer is available and you’re staying at one of the following resorts.

When the Disney Free Dining Plan is offered, there are rules in place for other resorts too. Can you Make Disney Free Dining Plan Modifications?

Yes! One of the perks of the Disney Free Dining Plan is that if your resort of choice doesn’t have the “right” dining plan for free, you can upgrade to the dining plan of your choice and pay the difference.
