Hollywood Studios Bucket List for Beginners

Hollywood Studios Bucket List for Beginners

Need a Hollywood Studios Bucket List to make sure you don’t miss anything? There are so many changes at Hollywood Studios right now that it’s important to take stock of where you’ve been so you can figure out where you need to go! We’ve heard about the 11 acres set aside for Toy Story Land and with Star Wars Land in full construction mode, we’re adamant about making sure we get out fill of the stuff that’s still open.

Here is our list of things for any of you out there who are taking that once in a lifetime trip to Walt Disney World or aren’t planning to return annually. These are our best sure bets!

Until Star Wars arrived, Hollywood Studios was considered a half day park, in that you didn’t really need too much time there because there really wasn’t anything that great. Times have changed. Hollywood Studios is upping the ante with just about everything. The introduction of Storm Trooper Parades, a Star Wars Fireworks Show and a new Fantasmic has Hollywood Studios back on the full-day-needed list. You’re also going to want to stop over and get a last glance at some of the things that may be replaced in the near future, The Great Movie Ride  is being replaced by Mickey’s Runaway Railway, the Rock N Roller Coaster is slated for a Marvel refurbishment and more is on the way. Whatever your goals for this park check out our list and see if we missed anything. This is one that will definitely be growing in the next couple of years and no doubt look entirely different on the other side of 2021. Get ready for the changes!

Hollywood Studios Transportation

If Driving: Just Park! You can grab a tram up to the main entrance to save on walking. If you’re visiting in 2019 keep an eye on Star Wars Land opening dates. This will surely keep the park bustling. If you want to arrive early, the parking lot usually opens 1.5 hours before the park opens. Check the My Disney Experience App for park hours.

From the Monorail: If you take the monorail to Epcot, you can walk to the Boardwalk in the World Showcase and take the Path near the Swan Dolphin Hotels to Hollywood Studios. No direct access to HS from the monorail.

From the Boat: Access the ferry at the Boardwalk to get to Hollywood Studios by boat

By Bus: From any resort or Disney Springs you can grab a bus to Hollywood Studios
