Are you heading to Disney World for the 4th of July? If so, get ready to celebrate your Independence this holiday with special events, snacks, and everything in Red, White, and Blue. And in 2026, Disney Celebrates 250 years of America with even more fanfare! With a fireworks display you’ll never forget, and special events across the park, here’s what’s happening for July 4th at Disney World. 

Disney World in the Summer can be extra fun this year, with the Disney’s Cool Kid Summer kickoff events, and America’s 250th Anniversary at Disney World. So, if you’ll be celebrating 4th of July at Walt Disney World this year, settle in, because this list is longer than usual! Here are all the activities happening for July 4th at Disney World.

4th of July Fireworks at Magic Kingdom

Shown in Magic Kingdom Park you can see a special fireworks display called, Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky July 3-4, 2026 at 9:20 pm. A patriotic score and red, white, and blue everything covers Cinderella’s Castle in this Independence Day Fireworks celebration. 

Soarin’ Across America | EPCOT

For a limited time, this new immersive flight on Soarin’ Across America, brings you across the USA, showing the breadth of America’s natural beauty, cityscapes and landmarks! This special limited time ride overlay is worth the watch if you’re visiting this year. Check out all the New Attractions at Disney World.

DJ on the Cinderella Castle Stage | Magic Kingdom

If you’re visiting on the 4th, get ready for extra fun, and music in Magic kingdom on July 4th at Disney World. With a DJ spinning the night away, you can shake it off, before and after the fireworks.

Watch the Daily Flag Retreat | Magic Kingdom

While this special Disney Flag Retreat event happens daily, it’s a wonderful reminder during the 4th of July holiday of all this country stands for. Taking place at 5:00 PM each day, the Flag Retreat at Magic Kingdom happens at the Main Street USA town square. And is hosted by military families and veterans in the park that day. 

Liberty Tree Tavern Restaurant at Magic Kingdom

Grab Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern | Magic Kingdom

Serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal, family style, you can go one step further in honoring July 4th at Disney World by spending time in the rooms of our four fathers. Decorated in the style of Colonial Williamsburg, Liberty Tree Tavern, brings you back to the good old days. And the birth of our country. Head to the Hall of Presidents | Magic Kingdom

Nothing says July 4th at Disney World like a lineup of animatronic presidents! So, after you gaze at the Liberty Bell, just outside the Hall of Presidents, you can head inside to hear quips from the 45 presidents of our country, so far! Be sure to marvel at the artwork in the lobby while you wait. Because this Disney attraction is known for having dozens of Hidden Mickeys inside! Be sure to look closely at the paintings to find a few of them. 

Bush Veterans Portraits EPCOT Exhibit American Adventure

Veteran’s Portraits at American Adventure | EPCOT Park

Special this summer, you can see the George W. Bush exhibit, Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors. Featuring his hand painted works of art honoring the men and women of the military, the president has 60 oil paintings on display inside the American pavilion. Be sure to stop by and see the fitting tribute. This special exhibit lasts all Summer at Disney World. 

The Heartbeat of Freedom | EPCOT

Shown especially for July 4th at Disney World, this patriotic show at EPCOT Park, takes place after the Luminous Symphony of Us show on the lagoon. So be sure to stick around to see the Heartbeat of Freedom, shown July 4, 2026 at 9 p.m.

Honor American BBQ for Lunch | EPCOT

While not only available for July 4th at Disney World, why not have an extra patriotic lunch at EPCOT while you’re there? Regal Eagle BBQ Smokehouse and Craft Brews brings out a variety of barbecue from regions of the U.S. Featuring Sam Eagle himself, and other American memorabilia across the walls of this quick service restaurant at the American Adventure Pavilion, there are plenty of ways to honor our land of the brave, and the food that fuels that her. 

Voices of Liberty | EPCOT

Also at EPCOT  you can head to the American Pavilion, daily for the patriotic Voices of Liberty a cappella group. Beautiful music, with a strong American heritage make up the song book. So, grab a seat and listen to these professional singers, use the rotunda to it’s fullest acoustic ability. These performances are an absolute treat and well worth making time for. The American Adventure | EPCOT

You can make July 4th at Disney World even more special with a stop at the American Adventure!  Offering a quick refresher on the history of America, you can pull up a seat at the American Adventure attraction as Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain talk you through it. Featuring pivotal moments in history, you can learn about the Mayflower, Civil war, Great Depression and more. 

Patriotic Photo Ops with Mickey and Friends | EPCOT 

Special for Independence Day, you can grab special photo ops with Mickey, Goofy and Donald in their “Spirit of ’76” outfits, all decked out in Red, White and Blue. Head to the American Adventure Pavilion anytime on the 4th to see the trio. This Disney Character Meet and Greet is exclusive to the July 4th at Disney World holiday. 

Spaceship Earth Red White & Blue Light Show | EPCOT Park

Covering the points of light on Spaceship Earth, at EPCOT Park, you can listen to the music and watch the flag colors wave across the ball. This show plays on a 15 minute loop as soon as dusk arrives, and can be seen from the monorail as well. Be sure to take a minute to marvel at this spectacle. If you’re in the Dreamers Point Area, the obelisks and floor area in that courtyard space also light up to complement the music.

There you have it. If you’re heading to the parks this Independence Day then there’s plenty to celebrate for July 4th at Disney World. Be sure to grab as many red, white, and blue snacks as you can find. All the celebrations last through July 4th, after which Disney World gets back to summer as usual. Happy vacationing!
