One of the newest additions to Hollywood Studios is the Mickey Shorts Theater. Perhaps not as fancy as recent additions like Rise of the Resistance and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. This little theater will be saving grace on days when the kids are rowdy, the sun is sunny and the rain is rainy. Even better, you can get a glimpse of our favorite Mickey Mouse cartoons in this show! So we’ve included the YouTube links to some of the Mickey cartoons you can expect to see, so you can get a head start by watching them from home. Here’s a sneak peak of this new theater experience.
Mickey Mouse in Vacation Fun
This little theater is done up with fun Mickey Mouse chairs and shows a little cartoon called Vacation Fun. We absolutely love the Mickey Mouse shorts. And in this Walt Disney World exclusive show, Mickey is getting ready to go on vacation and everything he is packing just happens to remind him of earlier adventures. Thankfully you can find them on Disney+ and the early season on YouTube and DVD.

Mickey Shorts Theater Photo Ops
In addition to a nice little break in the theater you also get the cute Disney Photo Opportunities on the way out! And there’s even a little gift shop. The Yodelberg photo op actually seemed like it was standing on it’s side, so all our attempts at a photo op there just felt wonky. But the Potatoland photo op was adorable, featuring a single potato on a stool.
Vacation Fun at the Mickey Shorts Theater at Hollywood Studios
This new theater experience at Hollywood Studios can be found right next to the Frozen Sing-a-Long near the Echo Lake area. You don’t need a FastPass+ and the show plays about every 20-25 minutes. Hopefully you get a chance to check out this cute new theater. We absolutely loved the break from our crazy Disney day.
