New Shows at Walt Disney World for 2020

New Shows at Walt Disney World for 2020

With so many new things coming to Walt Disney World in 2020, it can be difficult to keep up with all of it! One thing you should know, though, is that there is plenty of new entertainment to be had. Several new shows will be debuting at Walt Disney World in 2020 and you’ll want to see them all! Here’s a look at what you can expect for 2020.

Many of these shows will start debuting in January 2020, with release dates extending into early summer, so you can expect to be able to see these all come the summer vacation months. Let’s get started, shall we?!

HarmoniUS at Epcot

Replacing the previous show Illuminations and the temporary show, Epcot Forever, HarmoniUS is sure to be quite the spectacle! With new pyrotechnics, fountains, lasers, lights set to brilliant new music, this new show could be the refresh at Epcot we’ve all been waiting for. We got to hear a clip of this new music at D23 this year and well, let’s just say the entire room was in tears. This new nighttime spectacular will be the largest one ever created for a Disney Park. It’s going to be a good one!

Beauty and the Beast Sing-A-Long at Epcot

Joining Impressions de France in the France pavilion in early 2020 is a new Beauty and The Beast Sing-a-Long. This is your standard “follow the bouncing ball” sing along with a new twist on the Beauty and the Beat story, featuring LeFou as the hero.

Canada Far and Wide at Epcot

Canada Far and Wide in 360 Circle vision will be replacing “Oh Canada” and promises new scenery, a new story and we are hoping it’ll be as entertaining as the former show featuring Martin Short. This is one of our favorite spots to escape the rain or extreme heat at Walt Disney World, so we can’t wait to see this new show, coming in early 2020.

Wonderous China at Epcot

Another new show coming to a World Showcase pavilion is Wonderous China. Featuring a 360 degree digital show, we got to see a few small clips of this one at D23 as well and are excited to see the rest of this new show coming in 2020!

Awesome Planet in the Land Pavilion at Epcot

Debuting in January 2020, Awesome Planet is a new show coming to the Land Pavilion in Walt Disney World. This new show will showcase the beauty and diversity of our planet. We are excited to see this as we’ve been hoping for a little bit of a revamp to the Land Pavilion for some time now! This show will be replacing Circle of Life, so you can find it in the same spot as the previous show.

Cirque De Soleil at Disney Springs

A brand new show coming to Disney Springs combines the artistry of the performers at Cirque De Soliel with the storytelling and imagination of Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disney Imagineering that promises to be like nothing you’ve ever seen! This is sure to be a unique and impressive show and can be expected to debut in April of 2020.

So what show are you looking forward to in 2020 at Walt Disney World? With so many new shows, it’ll be hard to choose which to see first, but we have a feeling we will want to see them all!
