Does the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade Happen During Regular Park Hours?
Not until Christmas Week. Disney’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade happens typically only at Mickey’s Very Christmas Party and during the week of Christmas at Walt Disney World once the party nights are over.
When is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party?
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party returns on select nights from November 9- December 22, 2023. Be sure to read all about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for all the details on entertainment, snacks, and more.
When is the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade?
If you’re visiting Walt Disney World this holiday season, you can see the Disney World Christmas Parade at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. And if you’re lucky enough to be visiting Christmas Week, after the party dates have been completed, you can even see it during the daytime at Magic Kingdom Park. Typically at 12 pm and 3 pm. You can also listen to the music in the video below. This is officially called the Once Upon A Christmas Time Parade at Walt Disney World. How Long is the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade?
The Once Upon a Christmastime Parade lasts about 25 minutes.
Is there a Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade?
Of you’re looking for the Disney Christmas Day Parade on television, then YES, there is a Disney Christmas Parade you can watch from home. Shown Christmas Morning on ABC at 10 a.m. ET and 9 a.m. CT/PT and on December 26th on Hulu. Featuring a lineup of performers, floats and music, this parade may also be available on Disney’s YouTube Channel on Christmas Day. This parade is different from the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
If you are in the parks you can see the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at Disney World or the Christmas Fantasy Parade at Disneyland, which is the Disneyland Christmas parade. Both part of the Christmas Day at Disney events.
Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
Through the month of December, you can see this parade exclusively at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World, with the exception of guests visiting during the week of Christmas. We’ll be honest. This parade is totally worth it IF you can see it on Main Street USA, with the Cinderella Castle in the background. In truth, it makes all the difference. As seen from Frontierland we just felt it was mediocre and not worth our party time. But seen from Main Street? WOW! What a difference! Our second choice would be right in front of the Train Station, as you do get a pretty great view from that spot as well. If you’re traveling to Walt Disney World during the holidays you’re in for a magical parade set to the sounds of the season.
