Every year when the new EPCOT Flower and Garden Outdoor Kitchens arrive we make a list of all the foods to try. And sometimes, we are disappointed, but then there are other times when we’re pleasantly surprised, shocked, and gleeful at the culinary delicacies we find. So, we’re sharing our list of Favorite Foods at Disney’s Flower and Garden Festival in 2021. To help you maximize your Disney budget and enjoy the best foods at the festival.
To get started it’s important to remember that Disney’s Flower and Garden Festival hosts outdoor food kitchens not only in the EPCOT World Showcase but also all over Future World. Check out the Flower and Garden Festival Menus for 2021 for everything the festival has to offer.
Warm Cheese Strudel | Bauernmarkt Germany
By far one of our favorite foods and one of our favorite ( and easiest )Disney recipes the Warm Cheese Strudel with berries is a must-try. This warm cheese-filled pastry is a perfect combination of soft cheese and a mixed berry compote. This pastry comes out warm, and flaky. The berries are a perfect complement to the sweet cheese in this savory pastry. While we usually love everything at Bauernmarkt, this is by far our first choice at the pavilion in Germany.
Macaron au Chocolate en Sucette Large Chocolate Macaron Lollipop | Fleur de Lys France
Generally, we don’t need to be talked into Macarons. So when we heard the Macaron au Chocolate en Sucette Large Chocolate Macaron Lollipop had returned to the French outdoor kitchen, Fleur de Lys, we were ready! This sweet lollipop is a chocolate macaron, lightly sweetened and dipped in chocolate. This lollipop is covered in chocolate and vanilla pearls. Yum!
Frushi | Hanami Japan
By far the Instagram darling of the list the Frushi at the Japan outdoor kitchen makes our Favorite Foods at Disney’s Flower and Garden Festival every year. This Frushi is Strawberry, Pineapple and Cantaloupe wrapped in Sweet Rice and a Pink Soy Wrap. Served with Whipped Cream, Drizzled Berry Sauce, and Toasted Coconut. A very decadent treat, best shared. If you love the flavors of fruit ( and rice) then this is the Disney treat for you.
Grilled Baby Vegetables with Hummus Cream and Red Pepper Coulis | Flavor Full Kitchen Hosted by Adventhealth
We primarily like the vegetarian options when it comes to the Flower and Garden Festival. Mainly because as spring and summer roll around we just want light, fresh foods. So while you may think a little pile of vegetables on a plate not worth the money, think again! This dish is super flavorful! Grilled Baby Vegetables with Hummus Cream and Red Pepper Coulis. You can get your serving of vegetables and some ideas for dinner at home!
Potato Pancake with Caramelized Ham, Onions and Herb Sour Cream | Bauernmarkt Farmers Market Germany
Potato Pancakes are generally a cozy dish we reserve for cooler months. But, this savory potato pancake dish is light enough to get you through the spring without feeling hungry! Topped with ham, onions, and sour cream you can basically just call this lunch. Another fantastic dish that would be easy to throw together at home.
Mixed Berry Buttermilk Cake | Pineapple Promenade World Showcase Plaza
Another gluten-free treat, this new cake may just have been one of our favorites for a couple of years. Topped with mixed berries, this cake is light and flavorful, and not too sweet. A perfect afternoon snack without the sugar coma. definitely one of our Favorite Foods at Disney’s Flower and Garden Festival this year.
Beef Brisket Burnt Ends Hash | MaFestival Favorites World Showplace
As pretty as it is delicious, this little sandwich is a mess of amazing foods all smashed onto a bun. Charred beef, pork, garlic sausage, and chorizo all topped with cheese fondue. Try this Beef Brisket with Burnt Ends and Smoked Pork Belly Slider with Garlic Sausage, Chorizo, Cheddar Fondue and House-Made Pickle at the World Showplace, found between Canada and the UK pavilions.
Local Wildflower Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake | The Honey Bee-stro Hosted by National Honey Board™ World Showcase Plaza
If you’re looking for extra decadent and are a cheesecake lover then get ready to be pleasantly surprised! While cheesecake is cheesecake this one is infused with all things, honey! This is a Local Wildflower Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake with Orange Blossom Honey Whipped Cream, Whipped Honey, Crystalized Honey, Honeycomb, Dehydrated Honey and Fennel Pollen Meringue Kisses.
Pecan Cake with Maple Whipped Cream | Magnolia Terrace America
Another cake to add to your list, this one is light, nutty, and just dense enough to feel like a dessert instead of something you’d have for breakfast. This pecan cake is covered in toasted pecans, sugared syrup, and light whipped cream. Definitely worth a try if you have a sweet tooth.
Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade | Pineapple Promenade World Showcase Plaza
And while there are many amazing drinks at the Flower and Garden Festival, none is as popular as Violet Lemonade! This one comes frozen and luscious with violet syrup and an actual violet. The perfect not-to-sweet treat for spring!
