What is Season of the Force at Disneyland?
Replacing Star Wars Month, the Season of the Force encompasses two months of fun featuring ride overlays, special merchandise, foods, parties and more. It also kicks off a new round of Ashoka storylines in the Star Tours Ride, and a new way to experience the fireworks in the Fire of the Rising Moon display, on select nights in Galaxy’s Edge.

Do I Need Season of the Force Tickets?
No, you do not need a special ticket. Disneyland’s Season of the Force is included in the cost of a Disneyland park ticket.
Hyperspace Mountain Ride Overlay for Season of the Force
This Star Wars overlay of Disney’s Space Mountain Ride is super popular, and takes you through the music of the Star Wars films. From joining an x-wing starfighter, as they battle the bad guys to seeing the Star Destroyer and TIE fighters up close, there are plenty of special nods to the Star Wars films in this overlay. Due to this rides popularity, it’s best to grab Genie+ and select Hyperspace Mountain as soon as you enter the park. Otherwise, plan to wait in line!
Star Tours Ahsoka Storylines
Previously announced at D23, Star Tours gets an upgrade on April 5, 2024 with new Ahsoka storylines featuring Ahsoka Tano, Cassion Andor, and Mandalorian pals, Din Djarin and Grogu. You can find these Star Wars characters on the planet Peridia in the new storytelling that you may get on the ride. As Star Tour features a variety of storylines shared at random get ready to ride multiple times to see them all.
Fire of the Rising Moons Season of the Force Fireworks
This nighttime spectacular offers a different way to watch the Disneyland Fireworks, from Galaxy’s Edge. Featuring a musical score by John Williams, you can listen to favorite songs from Star Wars, accompanied by a glorious light display across Galaxy’s Edge. With the Millennium Falcon in the foreground, and mountains in the background, you’ll truly feel like you’re on another planet. Offered select nights beginning April 5, 2024.
Star Wars Batuu Bounty Hunters
This MagicBand+ integration allows guests to seek virtual bounties in the Disney Play App as they journey through Galaxy’s Edge. Part of this Disney AR experience allows the player to see whose “hiding in the shadows” across the land.
Seek and Find at Star Traders
Available for a limited time, you can search for hidden cylinders across Galaxy’s Edge that hide a secret code. Start at the The Star Trader to receive a keepsake once you get a code!
Holopuck Magic Shot from Disney Photopass
New in 2024, during Season of the Force, for guests using the Disney Photopass service, you get a chance to join Din Darjn Grogu and more with this photo pass featuring a “holographic image” that radiates from the puck as part of the Magic Shot.
Galactic Creation at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel
Honoring Disney’s Grand Californian Food Display tradition, often seen at Disneyland for the holidays, you can now find a replica of Galaxy’s Edge in the Great Hall of the resort. No Park ticket required! Featuring the Millennium Falcon arriving in Black Spire Outpost, this giant rice krispie treat creation was created by the in-house Disney culinary team. Made with 300 pounds of powdered sugar, 80 pounds of crisped rice cereal, 60 pounds of marshmallows, 100 pounds of dark chocolate, and more, be sure to look for the details, and the hidden Mickeys!
Disneyland Season of the Force Food
No special event at Disneyland Park would be complete without themed specialty foods. And Season of the Force brings returning favorites as well as new Star Wars treats to try this season. With many snacks over at Galactic Grill in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland, you can also find treats at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and across the resort! Disneyland After Dark Star Wars Nite
Offered select nights in April and May, from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM, this specially ticketed event gets you even more Star Wars magic after hours! With fewer people in the park and more time with your favorite rides, you can take advantage of special activities, snacks, merchandise and more! Rare characters, projection displays on Sleeping Beauty Castle and “it’s a small world,” are also part of the fun. Guests with a Star Wars Nite Ticket can enter the park as early as 6:00 PM. Tickets start at $159 a person. Check out all the details about Star Wars Nite at Disneyland. Dates: April 16, 18, 23, 25, 30; May 2, 7, 9, 2024.
