Disney MagicMobile Service
Disney’s MagicMobile Service is arriving in phases in 2021. Available now for Apple device users, this new wallet technology is meant to work in tandem and alongside the My Disney Experience App and Disney MagicBands. This Disney digital wallet can store tickets, payments, attraction passes, and allow for contactless entry to the parks. You can set it up in the My Disney Experience App.
Disney MagicBand Changes
MagicBands are No Longer Free. MagicBands are now 5 dollars to purchase in the My Disney Experience App, and still available at gift shops across the parks and on shopDisney.com but know that these are phasing out.
Disney Magical Express Retiring
Disney’s Magical Express is Retiring at the end of 2021. For interim transportation options in 2022 when this service retires, Disney vacationers will be on their own to find their way to and from the Orlando International Airport. While Walt Disney World does have plans with the Brightline high-speed train system in Orlando, the Disney Springs station may not be ready until 2025. Thankfully, Mears transportation is making available a new service called Mears Connect this year, to help Disney Vacationers with their transportation needs. We don’t have details on this new service yet but stay tuned, and we’ll share information as soon as it’s available.
