Best Walt Disney World Resorts to stay at for a Staycation

A trip to Walt Disney World can be super fun, but it can also be chaotic and stressful. That shouldn't stop you from taking a trip though! Instead of heading into the Parks, why not try a Disney Staycation. Here are our favorite resorts for a Disney Staycation.

Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground

Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is a great place for a Disney Staycation. There is plenty to do, it's very spread out so you'll never feel crowded and it's an easy bu ride over to Wilderness Lodge, which gives you even more dining opportunities. You can camp here, bring an RV or rent a cabin.

Animal Kingdom Lodge

Animal Kingdom Lodge has plenty to do, or you can do nothing at all! Many people enjoy just sitting and watching the animals on the savannah and we think that's a great way to spend a staycation. This resort is made up of two different buildings, which are an easy bus ride or walk away from each other, making finding food a breeze.

Disney's Boardwalk Inn

Disney's Boardwalk Inn is in the perfect location for a staycation. There are plenty of restaurants, beaches, and activities to do right on the Boardwalk. Entertainers come out at night and guests can view EPCOT's fireworks from this area without any crowds.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is the ultimate luxury stay at Walt Disney World. And it makes for a perfect staycation! Head to the spa, or just relax on the beautiful grounds. Guests staying here can see the fireworks from the resort, and a walking path connects all 3 monorail resorts, making it easy to go between resorts for food and shopping.
