How to Avoid Ride Lines at Walt Disney World

Tips and strategies  to help you avoid ride lines, with or without Disney Genie+ or Lightning Lane

Rope Drop Popular Rides

1

Nothing gets you  closer to the front of the line than waking up early and racing to the ride of your choice as soon as the park opens.

Take advantage of times when people are preoccupied with shows, parades & fireworks. This is when ride times are lowest.

2

Skip the Parades & Fireworks

People typically grab meals between 8-9 AM, 12-1 PM and 5-6 PM .  As such there are fewer people in lines. Check out your favorite rides during meal hours.

3

Aim for Meal Times

Anyone park hopping to their next park, is usually traveling between parks from 1-2 PM. Making this a great time to check ride lines, with less people in the park.

4

Park Hop Hour

In addition to the early magic mornings, guests of a Deluxe Resort also get access to Extended Evening Theme Park Hours , with fewer people and lower ride waits.

5

Stay at a Deluxe Resort

Book an After Hours Event, to get the perks of limited capacity and low ride times. Available throughout the year at select parks.
