How to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in one day

There are two separate lands in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley

Decide which land you want to start in and plan to arrive early! If you are eligible for Early Park Admission, take advantage of it. If you're not, be sure to arrive shortly before Park opening to get into the area as soon as possible.

Make sure you have a park to park ticket so you can experience both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. You'll also need it to ride the Hogwarts Express between the two areas!

In Hogsmeade, you'll want to prioritize two rides: Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure

Download the Universal Orlando app so you can keep track of times for rides, especially Hagrid's Magical Creatures, which can have very long wait times.

The lines are generally shortest right after park open, an hour before park close and sometimes during lunchtime.

The app will also help you find showtimes, in both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade.

In Diagon Alley, there is only one ride, Escape from Gringott's

But there are plenty of shops to explore in Diagon Alley!

Make sure to ride the Hogwarts Express both ways. Each direction offers a different scene. And passengers who board at King's Cross Station get to experience disappearing into Platform 9 3/4!

And don't forget to try the butterbeer! They offer three varieties: hot, cold and frozen, and can be found at several places throughout both areas.
