With major anniversaries over and major construction projects completed, 2024 at Walt Disney World unveils a "new" ride, resort renovations, and a year of events. 

Tiana's Bayou Adventure

By far the biggest thing coming to Disney World is the reimagining of Splash Mountain  with this Mardi Gras in the Bayou extravanganza. 

Featuring brand new animatronics, music and the smell of beignets, this ride includes  voices from the original Princess and the Frog cast.

OPEN June 30, 2024

Upgrading the wilderness,  the reconstruction of all 350 Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness  brings energy efficiency and a modern look.

Fort Wilderness Cabins Re-Imagining 

Set to use existing footprints of the current Fort Wilderness Cabins at Disney World, these new cabins will be under the Disney Vacation Club ( DVC) umbrella once complete.

OPEN TBD 2024

Nestled between Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa , this new DVC tower arrives in 2024.

Starting January 9, 2024, Park Pass Reservations are no longer required for date based tickets. Annual Passholders may also have certain days that will not require a reservation.
