About Melanie
Melanie Renee co-founded Polka Dots and Pixie Dust Blog and Polka Dot Pixie Shop, alongside her sister, Rochelle Mariah. Melanie is a photographer, writer and designer, she has been traveling to Disney parks since 2010. She has been a travel writer for more than 10 years working on both Daytrips and Daydreams, since 2016, and Polka Dots and Pixie Dust Travel Blog since 2018. She also designs and created apparel and accessories for the brand. Her passion for travel led her to receive certification as a Travel Agent in 2021. Melanie currently writes and designs for the brand, serving as Co-Founder and Creative Director.
