Pack a carryon

Much like packing for an airplane, your luggage will be separated from you for a short time. So you'll want to pack a carryon with essentials like your passport, medications, and maybe a swimsuit. Click below for what we recommend for your Disney Cruise carryon.

Plan for the Weather

Wherever you are sailing will dictate a lot of your wardrobe. Keep in mind, it's always cooler at sea. So if you're sailing somewhere cooler, we recommend a hat and gloves. If you're sailing somewhere during their rainy season, be sure to bring a jacket.

Pack Layers

Although there are plenty of indoor activities to do on your cruise, chances are a good portion of your time will be spent outside. And even if you're sailing somewhere warm, it's always cooler at seas, especially at night. Packing layers will help you stay comfortable any time of day.

Don't forget your formals

Disney Cruises that are 7 nights or longer will have a formal and semi-formal night. And even though it's not mandatory, it's fun to dress up! Some people go all out, while others are a little more dressed down. Choose what you feel comfortable in!

Pack Pirate Gear

Pirate Night is a fan favorite onboard Disney Cruise Line. With Fireworks, special foods, dancing and more, you won't want to miss this event. And it's fun to dress up for it too! We highly recommend packing a fun pirate outfit or costume to partake in the activties.

We have a free printable on our blog that shares everything to pack for a Disney Cruise. See the link below!
