Disney Summer Beauty Bag 12 Things we Love!

Disney Summer Beauty Bag 12 Things we Love!

If there’s one thing we know about Walt Disney World, its that it can get HOT. Like crazy hot. So while we commend you ladies out there who can manage to put on a full face of makeup and stay looking perfect all day, we do not possess those talents. We already shared some of our favorite products to survive the summer in Walt Disney World so we decided to put together a list of some of our favorite summer beauty products to help you stay insta-ready without feeling weighed down by your makeup!

Urban Decay Primer Potion

Planning to wear eyeshadow in the hot Florida sun? We wouldn’t even recommend it without an eye primer. We have found that without a primer, even the most expensive “long lasting” shadows in any form just don’t last without a proper primer. This one has lasted all day in many different types of Florida weather and we won’t even travel without it.

Stila Stay All Day 10-1 HD Beauty Balm

We love that Stila’s formula includes an SPF which honestly, we just can’t get enough of in the hot Florida sun. The illuminating formula will give you a dewy glow, but you can opt for the original HD BB  if you’d prefer a more matte look. This does a great job of evening out skin tone and hiding those little imperfections, without having to mess with foundation.

NARS concealer

Not only is it easy to apply, but this NARS also lasts throughout most of a long, hot and humid day. This is the one product that I don’t even leave my house without and is an easy way to fake a few extra hours of sleep.Best Disney Makeup for Travel and Photos Travel Makeup

Kat Von D Tattoo liner

As much press as this eyeliner gets, it definitely stays much better with the use of an eye primer and setting spray. It’s buildable so if you’re looking for something a little bolder, you’ll need to apply several coats, but for a more subtle look, this eyeliner is perfect. Warning: Without the use of a primer and setting spray, this eyeliner definitely still has the potential to smear and fade throughout the day. If you’re going to fork over the extra cash for the liner, do yourself a favor and use the three products together for the longest wear.

Benefit Ka-BROW!

A little goes a long way with this and we like that you can still do your brows but with a less “made up” look for summer. We find that brows are one of the few things we like to do every day, so having something simple that stays put is a must.Best Disney Makeup for Travel and Photos Travel Makeup

Benefit High Beam

This liquid highlighter blends well, stays put and is so lightweight, you will forget its there. We like to add just a bit to the brow bone and cheekbones for a subtle glow.

MAC Fix Plus

This setting spray helped our makeup stay fresher for longer and was light enough to not even notice it had been applied. Just a few spritzes will do the trick.Best Disney Makeup for Travel and Photos Travel Makeup

Verb Ghost Oil

We recently discovered this new line of products and we are in love! Ghost oil is not so much an oil, but more of a serum and we have found it works best (for us) on damp hair, helping keep frizz in check and smooth our fly aways. Tip: A little goes a long way!

Verb Sea Salt Texturizing Spray

Another from this brand, this is hands down our new favorite sea salt spray. Its light, keeps frizz to a minimum, will keep those waves in place for hours and wont leave your hair crunchy, like a lot of other sea salt sprays we’ve tried in the past. Also works great to refresh hair when its started to go flat, always a plus!Best Disney Makeup for Travel and Photos Travel Makeup

Dry Bar Triple Sec 3-1

We love Dry Bar for a lot of reasons and this 3-in-1 is great for refreshing tired hair and adding a bit of texture.

Blotting Papers

You’re going to sweat. It’s gonna happen at some point and it won’t be pretty. Be prepared with blotting papers. Not only will it help keep your makeup lasting a bit longer, but it’ll make your face a lot more comfortable throughout the day.

Mario Bodescu Rose Water Facial Spray

Even if you’re not wearing makeup, we found that even just with the application of sunscreen, and sweating throughout the day, our skin felt tired and dry by mid day. This Facial spray will help you feel refreshed and moisturized!

Tip: If you don’t usually wear much makeup but want to on your trip for photos, we recommend getting travel sizes. They’re cheaper and will give you more space in your suitcase. And if you purchase any of these at somewhere like Ulta or Spehora and end up not loving it, they’ll usually take the items back with no questions asked. Remember, everyone is different, so just because it works for some of us, doesn’t mean it works for all of us!

So those are our top beauty products for summer or really any time its hot in Disney! What do you guys like to use? Let us know in the comments, we love trying new things!
