Ohana Reservations
With views of the Cinderella’s Castle across the Seven Seas Lagoon, we highly recommend you grab a reservation around that 8:30pm/ 9pm hour and ask for a window seat. This can give you a front row seat to evening fireworks at Magic Kingdom and the electric water float parade. If you’re looking for something earlier and less crowded, aim for a 4 o’clock reservation before the dinner crowd settles in.

Ohana Restaurant Atmosphere
As a restaurant and culture that caters to families, Ohana combines a family-style meal and a casual atmosphere. And by casual, we mean you can show up in a tee and shorts, sporting a lei. It’s such a low key restaurant! Family-Style means all the food comes out in large dishes, once course at a time. And you share it. Of course, this is an all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experience, so feel free to ask for as much as you want.
the large dining area has plenty of space with long tables and a seating for each family. Set against the backdrop of the Seven Seas Lagoon, with views of the water. The open kitchen, allows you views of food being prepared, and the nearby Tambu Lounge shares the bar, offering a variety of specialty cocktails.
‘Ohana Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch
The Best Friends Breakfast at Disney’s ‘Ohana Restaurant is one of the best character dining meals at Disney World. The combination of a relaxing atmosphere, with views of Cinderella’s Castle across the lagoon from the Polynesian Resort make it unique and great way to start the day, outside the chaos of the parks. And the fact that you get to see Lilo and Stitch is such a treat. These SUPER RARE characters are hardly ever together for a meet and greet and getting their autographs, and photos at breakfast is a must for fans. Of course, we also love that the food is delicious, and it’s all you care to enjoy too! Plus, the easy access to the monorail on the second floor of the Polynesian Resort, means you can head to Magic Kingdom with ease afterwards. Just a 10 minute ride, you’re close to the park, when you’re ready to start your day.

‘Ohana Dinner
Dinner at ‘Ohana is NOT a Character Meal, but instead offers live ukelele music, and leis for guests as part of the meal. Kids get a chance to be in a little luau parade after the meal, and if you time your dinner later, you can even see the evening fireworks from the restaurant.
Ohana Restaurant Dinner Menu
Okay, so the main reason anyone goes to ‘Ohana is the food. Frankly, we can’t get enough of this menu. You get dumplings, wings, thai noodles and veggies as well as a selection of meats fresh from the grill. And thankfully, if you’re a vegetarian, you can just mention it to the server ahead of time and you’ll get your own selection of noodles, veggies and tofu. Plus, a hummus appetizer and salad with a non-dairy dressing.
Starters
- ‘Ohana Pineapple-Coconut Bread
- Mixed Greens Salad with a Lilikoi dressing
- Pork Dumplings tossed in Garlic-Ginger Sauce
- Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings
So, the bread and butter is flavored with this lovely sweet pineapple that feels a little like dessert. Definitely a treat and a nice starter. This salad follows suit with a slightly sweet dressing made from passionfruit and cream. Very yummy and both things kiddies will surely eat once they get a bite.

Entrees
‘Ohana Dinner Skillet: Wood Fire-grilled Black Pepper-Mirin-Teriyaki Beef*, Peel-n-Eat Shrimp coated with ‘Ohana Seasoning, Grilled Chicken with Guava-Pineapple Glaze, ‘Ohana Noodles with Mirin-Teriyaki, Stir-fried Vegetables

‘Ohana Plant-based Dinner Skillet (Plant Based): Ohana Noodles with Teriyaki, Stir-fry Vegetables, and Edamame Dumplings tossed in Garlic-Chili Sauce, Guava-Pineapple Glazed “Chicken,” Plant-based “Sausage,” and Black Pepper-Teriyaki Plant-based Beef and Broccoli
Everything in the entree portion of the meal is excellent. The pork dumplings are more like pot stickers, and the meats on skewers are freshly grilled. The noodles and veggies here are again on the sweet side with teriyaki sauce.

Desserts
- ‘Ohana Bread Pudding à la mode topped with Caramel Sauce and Bananas
- Bread Pudding with Soy-based Frozen Dessert (Plant Based)
- Rice Krispies Treat with Sprinkles ( For Kids)
Lets face it. The Ohana Bread Pudding at Ohana is the equivalent of the bread service at Sanaa. It’s THE REASON people come to Ohana. If you’ve never had bread pudding you may be wondering how what’s essentially prepared as soggy bread could good. But it’s really more of a pineapple and banana cake covered in caramel sauce. Very decadent. Absolutely addicting.
Bonus: If you’re staying at the Polynesian Resort you can order an Ohana dinner including bread pudding to be delivered to your room. It’s called the Polynesian Twilight Feast. See why we love everything about this island culture?

Ohana Restaurant Dinner Cost
At $42 per child 3-9 and $65 per adult, Ohana is on the pricier side when it comes to a dinner at Disney World. However, if you’re a big eater, remember that this is All You Care To Enjoy Family Style. So, you can request as much as you want of any of the items here. And yes, this includes asking for more bread pudding to-go to eat later. You can even request a box to take all your leftovers home. Or extra anything. The guests who sat next to us last time we visited had this system down. And literally walked out with a bag of extra dinner as a result of the all-you-care-to-enjoy stipulation. Check out the Ohana menu for current prices and menu options.

Is Breakfast at ‘Ohana Better than Dinner?
While we love the character element of Breakfast at ‘Ohana, ( and it’s completely worth a visit just for that), the food is on par with what you would find at other character meals for breakfast. Classic Mickey Waffles, Eggs, Sausage, Fruits, etc. are similar to what you would find at Garden Grill in Epcot and while good, fairly standard.
Dinner, however, is unique and offers a great array of flavors you can’t get anywhere else! As one of the best restaurants at Disney World, there’s a reason that ‘Ohana is consistently a hard to get reservation, and a repeat visit for many vacationers. Ohana Restaurant Review
So, do we think you should add ‘Ohana to your next Disney trip? YES. Absolutely. It’s a unique experience you won’t find elsewhere for breakfast or dinner, and while priced a little high, is a great way to add something special to your trip. We like this restaurant for casual family get togethers, groups and meetups. It’s wonderful to get away from the crowds of the parks and head to a restaurant off the beaten path, that still keeps you close to Magic Kingdom. In fact, this is one of our favorite restaurants to book before Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! Since we usually skip the park ticket on our party day, we can show up for an early meal, and then to MNSSHP afterwards, just 10 minutes away on the monorail.
Disney’s Polynesian Resort also boasts the Tambu Lounge and the Tiki Terrace for some fun drinks before or afterwards. And if you’re hanging out on a resort day, Pineapple Lanai even has dole whip! With beaches you can lounge on and wait for the fireworks or water parade, there are a ton of reasons to add Ohana to your next trip. We hope you have a great experience if it makes your Disney Restaurant List. Ohana is truly one of our favorite restaurants at WDW.
