La Creperie de Paris EPCOT Disney Restaurant Review

Le Creperie de Paris Restaurant at Epcot

As part of the renovation of EPCOT Park’s France Pavilion, came not only the new Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ride but also a new restaurant, La Creperie de Paris at EPCOT. Serving up savory and sweet crepes, this new Disney Restaurant brings in flavors from the streets of Paris. But these may not be the kinds of crepes you’re used to! Served up at the Table Service Restaurant and from a Quick Service window, you can get these buckwheat crepes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Here’s our review of La Creperie de Paris EPCOT.

La Creperie de Paris Details

Serving crepes from the Brittany region of France, the La Crêperie de Paris restaurant at EPCOT Park has both indoor dining as a sit down meal at Walt Disney World and a quick service window called Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris.

Where is Le Creperie de Paris at EPCOT?

Tucked away in the back of the France pavilion, you have to walk into the pavilion and then veer right towards the river’s edge. You will pass under the large Ratatouille gate and find Le Creperie de Paris straight ahead. This pathway also leads you to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

La Creperie de Paris Atmosphere

This smaller restaurant offers up an air of subdued elegance. And offers crepes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, alongside ciders and wines whether you’re dining in, or using the walk-up window. The menu options are light, fresh, and delicate enough to make you feel like you’re in France, where quality rules over quantity. If choosing to dine-in at Le Creperie de Paris, there is table seating, with a short wall of tall windows that light the restaurant.

La Creperie de Paris Menu

Inspired by the Brittany region of France, these are buckwheat crepes and folded into a square. As a result, these crepes are better eaten with a fork than as street food. They are also not as soft as crepes typically are. If you’re used to making thin pancake-like crepes at home, which are softer and more pliable. Buckwheat crepes, however, are stiffer and have crispy edges. In addition, they also do not have a large amount of filling, since the filling is spread over a larger square and then folded inwards.

The La Creperie de Paris Menu was created by celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse and includes a variety of savory crepes (or galettes), sweet crepes, salads, and beverages. While you could order any item individually, there is a Prix Fixe Menu option. The Prix Fixe selection includes a savory crepe, sweet crepe, salad or soup, and a beverage. At present this option is $40 dollars and a good deal if you plan on eating two crepes anyway. The children’s Prix Fixe option is $17 dollars.

What’s Included in the Prix Fixe Menu at La Creperie de Paris ?

The Prix Fixe option here is the best choice if you were going to order more than one crepe.

  • Choice of Soup of the Day or Salade Maison
  • Choice of one Galette
  • A Glass of Hard Cider, Soda, or Juice
  • Choice of one Dessert Crêpe

The Classique Galette

The Classique Galette at Le Creperie de Paris is a classic ham, egg, and swiss cheese perfect for any meal. It’s light and filled with familiar flavors. Our only issue here was that the egg is a sunny-side-up egg, with the egg whites spread out inside the crepe and the yolk peeping from the hole in the center. If you like runny eggs, this would be right up your alley. Unfortunately, since we don’t, we just ate around the center.

Savoyarde Galette

The Savoyarde Galette was delicious, but definitely a more grown-up galette with loads of onions. The raclette melted nicely and the ham was well portioned. This is a good galette selection if you are looking for something a little heartier. We’d steer the kiddies away from this choice though, simply due to the number of onions.

Le Creperie de Paris Crepes Apple and Caramel

Gourmand Crepe

Sure to be the most popular crepe at La Creperie de Paris, this “nutella” crepe is a hazelnut and chocolate crepe with whipped cream. The flavors here were wonderful, and perfect if you’re looking for a luscious dessert. And with the buckwheat crepe, you can easily pass this treat off as “healthy. Just like the galettes, this dessert crepe is the size of a plate, so maybe worth sharing.

Pomme Crepe

The Pomme Crepe is an apple-filled creped with caramel sauce and was absolutely delicious. We’d attribute this to the fact that apples and buckwheat actually go well together. With chopped apples, cinnamon, and caramel sauce drizzled over the crepe itself, this crepe was warm, and cozy like an apple pie.

La Creperie de Paris Quick Service Window

If you’re looking for a light meal and would rather take your meal to-go, the Crêpes À Emporter at La Creperie de Paris is a quick and easy option. Limited crepe options are available alongside beverages and soft-serve ice cream. And a great way to get into the feeling of France without the time commitment of a table service restaurant.

Savory Galettes $10-$12 each

  • Cream of Brie Cheese Galette
  • Ratatouille Galette: tomato, zucchini, eggplant
  • Bechamel, Cheese & Ham Galette

Sweet Crepes $7- $9 each

  • Butter & Sugar Crêpe
  • Hazelnut & Chocolate Spread Crêpe
  • Red Berries Crêpe
  • Vanilla or Chocolate Ice Cream Crêpe

Are Epcot’s Le Creperie de Paris Crepes Gluten-Free?

Yes, the crepes at Le Creperie de Paris are gluten-friendly. Since Buckwheat is a naturally gluten-free food those with gluten sensitivity need not worry. However, we always recommend mentioning any allergies or sensitivities to the server so they can make the chef aware if needed.

La Creperie de Paris Cost

Prices for savory and dessert crepes inside the restaurant and at the counter service window are the same.

  • Savory Galettes: $19 dollars
  • Sweet Crepes: $11 each
  • Prix Fixe Menu- Adult: $39
  • Prix Fixe Menu- Child: $17

Crepe add-ons include whipped cream, ice cream, or sauces and are $3.50 dollars each. Or if you’re looking for something a little stronger you can add a shot of Grand Mariner, Rhum, or Calvados to any crepe for $9 dollars extra. There are also a variety of beers, ciders, and wines available by the glass or bottle.

Do you need a Reservation for Le Creperie de Paris?

For table service dining, reservations are highly recommended. We’d recommend you make a reservation in the My Disney Experience App ahead of time. As the restaurant is still new, reservations may fill up fast. Meanwhile, just like any Disney Restaurant, you can also walk up and ask the server for dining availability. The quick-service window does not require reservations of any kind and you can simply walk up and order from the limited menu.

Does La Creperie de Paris take the Disney Annual Passholder Discount?

No. Since La Creperie de Paris is currently run by a contracted third party and not Walt Disney World itself, La Creperie de Paris does not offer Annual Passholder Discounts

Should you add La Creperie de Paris to your Disney Advanced Dining Reservations?

All in all we really liked the atmosphere of La Creperie de Paris. It was calm, and elegant and really felt like we were getting away from it all. We’ll admit, we love crepes, but buckwheat crepes are different. And while we love that they are gluten free, they may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Especially if you’re used to regular crepes. If you’re thinking of dining here, we’d say, head for the quick service window first, so that you can see if this is food you like. As the entire menu is crepes, it makes sense to test it out at the window before you pay the $40 prix fixe charge.

Hopefully this post has given you a quick look at what you can expect at La Creperie de Paris at Epcot park. Have you eaten here? Did you love it?
