If you’ve seen photos of Italian food at Disney parks, chances it was from EPCOT’s Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria. This Italian restaurant at Walt Disney World serves Hand Tossed Pizzas, Lasagna, Salads, Meats, and some of the best Italian food around. Better yet, the atmosphere includes Large Italian Ovens reminiscent of the Bocca Della Verita ( the mouth of truth in Rome, Italy.) Thus making for a truly Old-World Italian restaurant feeling. But is this restaurant worth the time or cost? Here’s everything to know before you go about Via Napoli at EPCOT park.
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria Atmosphere
Located at the back of the Italy pavilion in Epcot, Via Napoli is a table service restaurant and often warrants Advanced Dining Reservations. The atmosphere is easy but not necessarily themed to normal Disney levels. While families and children are welcome, expect a more sophisticated atmosphere here. This restaurant includes both table and booth seating in separated areas, with a full view of the pizza ovens. Depending on where you are seated you may be able to get a view of the chefs tossing the pizzas before putting them in the oven.
The restaurant opens into a very large space and also includes higher bar table seating to make it feel less like a cafeteria. We did think this would be a cute restaurant for special events like baby showers or bridal showers. It’s also connected to the Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar if you find a bottle of something you’d like to try while you dine.
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria Menu
Via Napoli is best known for its pizzas, which was what we decided to grab on our visit here. And we were not disappointed. This was a true wood-fired pizza with excellent crust, we probably couldn’t get elsewhere. On a side note, neither the salad nor a bread service comes free. As a result, we ordered a salad to share. Primarily because the basic salads were $9 dollars each. We got a large Margherita pizza, which is perfect for 4 people at 2 very large slices each. Now, we do love pizza, a lot. And hand-tossed, wood-fired pizza is a favorite; very thin and smoky. It actually makes for a nice lighter meal than the heavier pasta or meats here.
That said, we would highly recommend that if the pizza is meant to be your main meal to plan on having a snack later. True Italian pizzas are very lightly topped with toppings. So, you will not find the breadth of protein on your pizza here and you will get hungry if this is all you have for dinner. For that reason, we also wouldn’t necessarily recommend using your Disney Dining Plan Credits here unless you planned to order the more expensive items from the menu. Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria Cost
Is Via Napoli at EPCOT Worth the Cost? Whether you’re dining at Via Napoli for lunch or dinner, the prices are a bit higher. Pizzas range from $25- $50 dollars, depending on what you order. And pasta and meat dishes hover between the 30-40 dollar mark. For us, this felt pricey. Thankfully the pizza menu is varied enough that you could grab something on the low end of the price range. Either way though, it’s not necessarily cheap. We definitely wouldn’t recommend it above other budget-friendly restaurants like Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom, or Tokyo Dining in EPCOT. And it’s not as fancy as other restaurants, like Toledo at Coronado Springs to warrant a high price tag. That said, as far as Pizza in EPCOT goes, it is some of the BEST. But of course, if you’re looking for something basic you can easily just walk through EPCOT’s International Gateway to Trattoria al Forno’s Pizza Window, for a 20 dollar pizza to eat on the Disney Boardwalk.
All in all, we did love the pizza. We weren’t thrilled that we had to pay for the salad or the bread. And when it was all said and done, our meal for three of us was about $70 dollars.

The Via Napoli Restaurant Review
All in all, this was a good experience for us. And we’d probably go back if we were craving pizza or on the Disney Dining Plan with hopes of trying something more expensive. For us, this restaurant checked a lot of boxes. But, if you’re hoping for something more Disney, like Tony’s Town Square Restaurant, or with heavy cultural theming like Biergarten, then you may want to keep looking. However, if you are in the mood for some high-class wine and cheese in a restaurant atmosphere, then this restaurant will probably meet all your requirements! If you’ve had the privilege of dining here, let us know what you loved and we’ll be sure to try it next time we’re in Epcot.
