Perfect for those holiday favorites on Hallmark, Disney+, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Video, we have cards for families, adults, and romance movies too! We’re sure you know that feeling, right around the beginning of November, when you can finally start watching those romance-filled, cheesy, completely unrealistic holiday movies. Heck, if we see Lacey Chabert, or Danica McKeller we know we’re in for something involving a small town that needs saving, a princess, or a cookie contest.
And if you’ve seen our Disney Christmas Movie List you know a few good Hallmark Movies always find their way into our holiday season. It doesn’t matter if you’re watching the classics or all the new holiday romance-filled favorites, they all have things in common that can make for a fun afternoon, or evening game. We even love this at family gatherings, with prizes like m&m’s ( that haven’t been used as bingo markers!)
What is Christmas Movie Bingo?
Christmas Movie Bingo is set up just like regular bingo, but instead of letters to dot with your marker, there are scenes you look for in the movie to mark on your board. In this game we mark the scenes when we see them, with little candies, but you can use any kind of way to mark your board. Playing Christmas Movie Bingo is one of the most fun things to do during the holiday season. Whether playing with kids or grownups, family or friends, there are plenty of ways to add this fun activity to your holiday plans.
How to Play Christmas Movie Bingo
Okay, so if you’re wondering how to play Christmas Movie Bingo, let us help you out! Simply grab our printables below, and some bingo markers, like candies, or peppermints and you’re all set. Then, as you’re watching the film, take note of the scenes you’re looking for! This game works best with films you’ve seen a hundred times. You know, those annual Christmas movies you know by heart. For instance, if you see Christmas Carolers, a zany friend, a snow storm, a flannel shirt, or a single parent, add your marker to the spots and keep watching for how you can get 5 blocks in a row, vertically, horizontally or diagonally. First person to get 5 blocks in a row, wins! ( A grown up note: You can also share cards, and turn this into a drinking game, with the right movies.)
Christmas Movie Bingo Cards
Okay, so if you’re looking for printable Christmas Movie Bingo cards, we have a few sets here for you. In counts of 4, 6 and 8, you can print them all, mix and match, or just stick with one set. We broke them up into a few different designs, and across three categories. Grown up Christmas Movies, Romance Christmas Movies and Family Christmas Movies. Frankly, there are similarities between them, but we found that the Hallmark cards, didn’t work or films like Home Alone… so we made more. On a side note, we like printing and laminating these, so we can just reuse the same sets every year.
