And if you’re ready to really get settled in for the holiday season, check out the Family Christmas Movie Bingo Cards to keep on hand while you watch your favorites!

If you’re looking to build your Christmas Movie Collection at home, love streaming services as we do, you can grab a DVD of your favorites to watch over and over again, without the need to buy streaming every December! Here are our favorite Disney Christmas Movies on Disney Plus for the Holidays. You can check out the entire list on Amazon in our shop too! Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Christmas
Let’s face it, if you watched Beauty and Beast as a kid, this little Christmas movie can really take you back! Beauty and the Beast Enchanted Christmas is a little romance-y, featuring the Beast learning a lesson and Belle in her Christmas outfit! What more could you ask for in a Christmas cartoon for the holidays?
Babes in Toyland
While there have been many variations of Babes in Toyland we like the one from 1961 best. Featuring Mouseketeer Annette Funicello, Tommy Sands, and Ed Wynn, this live-action Disney classic is a mix of all the stories we know from Mother Goose. Fantastic songs and a dreamy Christmas wedding make this a very fun holiday watch.
Disney’s A Christmas Carol
A few years ago during Jim Carey’s heyday, Disney made A Disney Christmas Carol featuring our favorite funny Hollywood actor as the voice of Scrooge himself. Fun facial expressions and great music make this spin on A Christmas Carol a great way to introduce kids to Charles Dicken’s most important holiday story.
Disney Channel Holiday Episodes
We can never get enough of the Disney Channel Christmas Shows, so when we saw this little lineup of our favorite Disney Channel Holiday shows on DVD, we were sold! We’re also sharing all the Disney Channel Episodes for Christmas on Disney Plus if you’ve migrated from the DVD player.
Eloise at Christmastime
Absolutely one of our favorite films for the holidays, this holiday classic featuring Julie Andrews as Nanny, puts Eloise at Christmastime at the top of our list of things to watch and re-watch. If you haven’t seen this one yet- make the time! There’s a Christmas romance, funny moments, a few holiday lessons, and even a Christmas surprise that makes it all worthwhile.
Have Yourself a Goofy Little Christmas
This classic throwback is for fans of Goof Troop when Goofy was at his Disney Dad best. This Christmas cartoon is a favorite. Another fun show to just add to your Christmas afternoon watchlist Have Yourself a Goofy Little Christmas gives your Christmas vacation a little extra cheer.
I’ll be Home for Christmas
Nothing says Christmas like Jonathan Taylor Thomas. In this holiday road trip film from Los Angeles to New York, I’ll Be Home For Christmas combines all sorts of family obligations and a Porsche bribe if our hero can make it home for Christmas Dinner. While this film won’t be an annual must-see in your Christmas arsenal you can still find lessons of the season in this Disney Christmas flick.
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas
A compilation of three Mickey Mouse Christmas tales, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas includes Donald Duck: Stuck on Christmas featuring Huey, Dewey, and Louie reliving the Christmas over and over ( until they get it right). In A Very Goofy Christmas Goofy tackles the Santa Claus problem with his son Max. And in Mickey & Minnie’s Gift Of The Magi we see this classic Christmas story of selflessness during the holiday with our favorite character.
Mickey’s Christmas Carol
Absolutely our favorite version of A Christmas Carol, Mickey’s Christmas Carol is done in the classic Disney animation style, with sepia credits and a beautiful musical score. This is a must-see Disney Christmas film, featuring all your favorite Disney characters. With Mickey as Bob Crachit and Scrooge McDuck himself as Ebenezer Scrooge. Add in Jiminy Cricket as the Ghost of Christmas Past and Goofy as Marley and you’ll be struck by the stories, the characters, and songs. Filled with Christmas Lessons this holiday show is perfect for kids young and old and grown-ups too.
Mickey Mouse Merry and Scary Holiday Collection
We LOVE the new Mickey shorts that have been part of the Disney Channel and now Disney Plus over the last few years. So when we saw that both a Disney Halloween Episode and a Christmas Episode were available to add to our Disney Holiday Movie lineup, oh boy! The Halloween episode, The Scariest Story, in this set is fun and a little spooky, but the Christmas Episode, Duck the Halls, is why you should own this DVD. Or add Mickey Mouse: Merry and Scary to your digital collection. Duck the Halls follows Donald Duck reluctant to migrate with his fellow birds so that he can stay back and experience Christmas. What ensues is a hilarious, very hilarious, story with fun songs, anecdotes, and of course another great Christmas lesson. An absolute must-see show. Both are on Disney Plus.
A Muppets Christmas Letters To Santa
As a homage to the United States Postal Service back in 2008, the Muppets embark on trying to get an important Christmas letter to Santa before Christmas arrives! With Nathan Lane, Whoopi Goldberg, and Uma Thurman alongside our favorite troupe, A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa combines all the fun and challenges of the holiday rush with the lessons of Christmas. We love love love this movie as an afternoon flick to watch while baking.
The Muppets Christmas Carol
Probably the most popular Muppets Christmas Movie is The Muppet Christmas Carol. Michael Caine stars as Ebenezer Scrooge in this musical re-telling of Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol. With ghosts following Scrooge through the past, present, and future to teach important life lessons, we love the extra humor we get from Miss Piggy as Mrs. Cratchit and Gonzo as Charles Dickens himself. This is a classic holiday film we watch every year and have even made a Muppets Christmas shirt to match for your next Muppets Christmas Movie Night or watch party.
The Nightmare Before Christmas
This Tim Burton classic is done in stop-motion animation, which makes it simply marvelous to watch. Add in the Pumpkin King of Halloween, wondering if there is something more to life than just spooks and scares and a desire to see what the big deal is about Christmas and Santa better hold tight to his job! The Nightmare Before Christmas takes a great holiday story twisted with those larger life questions of belonging, and purpose. We love that this tale is beautiful with amazing songs and important revelations that everyone needs to contemplate! Want to make a night of it? Check out our Nightmare Before Christmas Movie Night complete with special drinks and treats.
Olaf’s Frozen Adventure
Definitely one of the kid-focused fun Disney Christmas shows on this list, Olaf’s Frozen Adventure is all about creating traditions of your own that you can look forward to every year! When Anna and Elsa realize they get to create their own future of traditions, Olaf and Sven help to make the season bright.
One Magic Christmas
A Disney Classic, One Magic Christmas is about the power of believing. Believing in something larger than yourself. This one gets at the heart of Christmas. When mom Ginny is discouraged with her life, an Angel comes and “takes away” everything that she holds dear. It’s soooo difficult to watch, but sooo amazing to see how it all resolves, teaching us that we always already have everything we need. That we’re consistently guided and watched over if only we believe. One Magic Christmas is a super powerful Disney must-see Christmas movie.
Prep and Landing
Prep and Landing is very fun! And adds a few grown-up problems to keep the adults interested while the kids wonder if Santa is going to get out of this one. A cute story all about being disgruntled about your job. Can you relate or what? And realizing that it means more than you think and makes you who are. You can grab this double feature of Prep and Landing/ Naughty Vs. Nice to get the whole story.
Phineas and Ferb A Very Perry Christmas
So if you love Phineas and Ferb, check out Phineas and Ferb: A Very Perry Christmas. Yes, this is a compilation of episodes you may have seen in the series, but are definitely worth the re-watch! This DVD includes Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation, Interview with a Platypus, Oh there you are Perry, Chez Platypus, Perry lays an Egg, and The Doof Side of the Moon.
Pluto’s Christmas Tree
Part of the classic Disney Christmas cartoons on Disney Plus, Pluto’s Christmas Tree is a must-see. All about that first day of getting the tree in the house, and decorated! Only to find that Chip and Dale already live in the tree. Pluto is determined to set things right to make a happy Christmas for everyone.
Recess Christmas: Miracle on 3rd Street
If you loved Recess as a kid, or as an adult with kids, this film is a compilation of four episodes and extra fun pulled from the original cartoons. Definitely a fun watch for an afternoon of holiday episodes to make time for!
Santa Buddies
If you love puppies, be sure to add Santa Buddies to your Christmas Movie Checklist. This one is a classic tale with the fate of Christmas Spirit at stake, and a young pup with a big responsibility to save Christmas, but he just wants to be a normal dog. Sigh…
The Santa Clause 1, 2 and 3
One of the BEST Disney Christmas Movies, the Santa Clause trilogy follows a reluctant toymaker who steps into the role of Santa Clause on accident. The Santa Clause Collection follows his origin story and adventures with his son Charlie. His attempts at romance and even going up against Jack Frost in a fight over Christmas. We watch this several times throughout the season. It’s such fun!
The Small One
This cozy family movie tells the nativity story of a little boy who is forced to sell his beloved donkey. Little does he know that the donkey will play an important role for Mary and Joseph. A beautiful Christmas cartoon to bring the meaning of the season a little closer.
Home Alone
Now on Disney Plus thanks to the Walt Disney Company’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox, Home Alone is another Christmas classic we simply cannot get enough of. Eight years Kevin McAllister brings in the big (toy) guns when he’s left home alone on accident over the Christmas holiday as his family flies off to Paris. He takes on grown-up responsibilities as his mother tries to get back to him through the nightmare that is holiday travel. But Kevin knows what he is doing and can fend off the bad guys trying to rob his house, like nobody’s business.
Winnie the Pooh a Very Merry Pooh Year
If you’re looking for a cozy holiday cartoon, watch this one with an early morning breakfast. Winnie the Pooh A Very Merry Pooh Year is a childhood throwback like you wouldn’t believe and totally warrants warm cocoa and pancakes and cozying up on the couch.
Snowglobe
We love the ABC Family Christmas movies and have oh so many fun ones we watch every single year. Snowglobe is a Christmas flick with Christina Milan. This film follows a girl with a big family who dreams of the perfect life she’s seen in her inside a Christmas snow globe. And since wishes do come true, this is a funny, and quirky movie for the holidays!
Snow 1 and 2
As part of the cute ABC Family Disney Movies, this Christmas Classic is one of our favorites! Snow and Snow 2, follows the journey of the real Santa Claus trying to rescue his reindeer! But a little romance gets in the way.
12 Dates of Christmas
Love Bill Murray’s Groundhog Day? Then 12 Dates of Christmas is just what you’re looking for. This cute Christmas movie for Disney Grown Ups is all about learning the true meaning of Christmas.
Miracle on 34th Street
Miracle on 34th Street, featuring Edmund Gwenn, Natalie Wood, Maureen O’Hara, and John Payne is as classic Christmas as it gets! Absolutely a must-watch for the holidays this black and white Christmas classic is on Disney Plus and is exactly what you need for holiday nostalgia.
Noelle
Oh my garland! Noelle is on Disney Plus and is definitely worth the watch! If you have not yet gotten Disney+, now is the time so you can make sure you get access to all the BEST Christmas Movies. Following Noelle as the daughter of Santa Clause, Noelle is great at supporting her brother, Nick, soon to take over as Santa himself. He, on the other hand, has other plans and jets off to Arizona to open a yoga studio. We love the sibling relationship and positivity, and the way to discovering yourself and your true path is always a surprise. A super fun Christmas film filled with magic, gorgeous costumes, and a sunny location to help you feel like you’re on vacation. Grab our Noelle T-shirt to help you get in the spirit!
