What’s better than Hocus Pocus Cocktails for the spooky season? If you’re looking for a fun way to celebrate the Halloween Season at home, you can add a little bit of Hocus Pocus to your lineup. Whether you’re planning a party or just sprucing up your Halloween Movie Night, we’re sharing cocktails and mocktails in honor of our favorite witches, the Sanderson Sisters from Hocus Pocus.

Sanderson Sisters Hocus Pocus Cocktail Recipes

Gathering up cocktails and mocktails to honor our inner Sanderson sister, is just what we needed for the Halloween seasons. Especially since you can share non-alcoholic versions with the kids. These fancy sippable Halloween drinks, inspired by Mary, Sarah and Winifred, are perfect to add a little more Disney to your Halloween fun. Make these drinks in pitchers, and set them around for your next bash. 

Winifred Hocus Pocus Cocktail

Ingredients
Serves 4

  • 1/3 c. Blue Curaco Syrup
  • 2/3 c. Apple Brandy
  • 1 c. Orange Juice
  • 1 c Pineapple Juice
  • 2/3 c. Spiced Gold Rum
  • Silver Cake Shimmer Dust
  • Green gel food coloring

Instructions

Mix the juices together first and chill. If using the brandy and rum, shake those together in a cocktail shaker. Remove the juices from the fridge and add the blue curacao syrup, add silver cake shimmer dust, and liqueurs. Mix in the green food coloring until your desired green color is reached. 

Winifred Sandersons Hocus Pocus Punch

Winifred’s Hocus Pocus Punch Mocktail

Ingredients
Serves 4

  • 1/3 c. Blue Curacao Syrup
  • 2/3 c. Apple Juice
  • 1 c. Orange Juice
  • 1 c Pineapple Juice
  • 2/3 c. Spiced Brown Sugar Syrup
  • Silver Cake Shimmer Dust
  • Green gel food coloring

Instructions

This is a fruity sweet punch. In a cocktail shaker add the curacao syrup, apple juice, pineapple juice, and spiced brown sugar syrup. Shake. Then add the shimmer dust. Shake again. In a chilled glass swirl in green gel food coloring. Add cocktail shaker contents, add orange juice and serve cold. 

Sarah Sanderson Cocktail

Sarah’s Hocus Pocus Sparkler Cocktail

Ingredients
Serves 1

  • 1.5 oz ( a jigger) of Empress Indigo Gin
  • 1 oz. Grand Mariner Orange Liqueur
  • 1/2 tsp. red glitter gel icing
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice

In a chilled glass add the lemon juice and red glitter gel icing. Add in the gin and orange liqueur and stir for a sparkle effect. this drink should be pink magenta, if more red glitter gel is needed, add it.  Note: If you’d rather use vodka instead of gin, you can substitute butterfly pea-infused vodka to get the same purple color. 

Sarah Sanderson’s Mocktail Tea

Ingredients
Serves 4-6

  • 2 tbsp. dried butterfly pea flowers
  • 2 mint tea bags
  • 3 c. water
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 2.5 c. water
  • milk of choice (optional)

Instructions

Boil 3 c. water. Add mint tea bags, sugar, and butterfly pea flowers to bowl. Add boiling water to bowl and steep for 5 minutes. 
Prepare a heat-proof pitcher with 3 c. of ice and strain the tea mixture, through a strainer, into the pitcher. Let sit. 
Mix 1/2c. lime juice with 2.5 c. water and chill. 
Once ready, pour the tea mixture into tall glass, then add the lime mixture. Adding the lime will make this drink change color. Serve with a straw or spoon. 
Add milk for a tea latte option. 

Mary Hocus Pocus Elderflower Gin Coctail

Mary’s Elderflower Gin Cocktail

Ingredients
Serves 2

  • 1.5 oz ( a jigger) of Empress Indigo Gin
  • 1/4 tsp white pearl luster dust
  • 1.5 jiggers Elderflower syrup or St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp rum
  • Pinch cinnamon, optional

Instructions

Prepare your glass by sticking it in the freezer, while you mix the drink
Stir or shake the gin and luster dust together to get the color-changing effect. Chill in freezer
Mix the Elderflower syrup ( or St. Germain) with the lemon juice. Chill in freezer
Remove your glass from the freezer. Remove the gin and luster dust from the freezer and shake again, add to your glass. Remove the Elderflower and Lemon syrup mixture and add to the gin to create a color-changing effect from blue to purple. Add the 2 tsp of rum and cinnamon. Stir and Enjoy.

Mary Sanderson’s Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp. dried butterfly pea flowers
  • 2 chamomile tea bags
  • 1/4 c. granulated sugar
  • 3 c. water
  • 1/4 tsp white pearl luster dust
  • 1.5 jiggers Elderflower syrup
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp brown sugar syrup
  • Pinch cinnamon, optional

Instructions

Boil 3 cups of water. Add butterfly pea flowers and chamomile tea bags in a bowl or heatproof pitcher with sugar. Add boiling water. Steep for 5 minutes. In the shaker add elderflower syrup, lemon juice, brown sugar syrup, and luster dust. Once the tea is steeped pour into a heat-proof pitcher filled with 2 c. ice. Then add the elderflower mixture. Serve with a straw.  Note: if you don’t have a heat-proof glass pitcher, you can let the steeped tea cool first.
