As a Disney World Resort Guest, you get a slew of perks just because you’re staying on WDW property. But did you know that you’re also actually entitled to even more Magical Extras, as part of your vacation? Just for staying at a Disney Resort on property at Walt Disney World? That’s right! You actually even get a card you can swipe to redeem your Magical Extras throughout your vacation. So, what are Magical Extras at Disney World? How do you get Magical Extras, and is it really worth staying at a Disney hotel to get them? Here are all the details. 

Okay, so it’s no secret that there are naturally extra perks you get just for staying at a Walt Disney World Resort. These are called Disney Magical Extras. And while they have been dwindling for the last few years, ( we’re looking at you…free transportation to WDW from MCO), Magical Extras are here to stay. A combination of things like 10% discounts across retailers, and free mini golf at Disney are in the lineup of FREE extra things that are all part of your My Disney Experience Account as soon as you check in to your Disney Resort.

If you’re like most of us, there is nothing like saving money, and at Disney, it’s super important, since it will almost always cost more than you think. Even when you’ve mastered your Disney Budget, there are always more ways you can honor your #1 dime, and spend less. Here are all the things you can get as part of  your Disney World Magical Extras.

4 FREE Passes for Miniature Golf at Disney World

Good at both Disney World Mini Golf Courses, you can use your 4 free vouchers at Fantasia Gardens and Fairways, or at the Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course. Both courses are super fun and give you tons of reasons to take a break from the parks. We also love playing mini golf at Disney during our non-park days at Disney World. Because, frankly, we all need days out of the crowds and chaos of the parks. And the fact that  you can get 4 free passes for miniature golf to use anytime during your trip, is a bonus you should make time for! 

4 FREE Passes to Visit the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

The ESPN wide world of sports hosts sporting events all year, including the Warrior games, Cheerleading championships and a variety of local events. Check out the ESPN sports schedule of events, so you can see what may be happening during your trip. The complex also has restaurants so you can plan to go and spend the day. As the official facility of oh-so-many major events, you’ll want to take the time to visit if you a sports fan. 

Discounted Tickets for Cirque du Soleil at Disney Springs

You can see Drawn to Life Presented by Cirque du Soleil at Disney Springs, for discounted ticket prices throughout 2025. While there are some block out dates, your Disney World Magical Extras card can get you the discount. Just check out the Cirque du Soleil dates and you can book up to 8 ticket with a discount at the box office. 

Get 10% Off at Splitsville Luxury Lanes

If you’re looking for a fun family day at the lanes, then bowling at Splitsville may be just what you need. You can grab 10% off any walk in bowling rates. And you can also take another 10% off food while you’re  dining in. As a super fun atmosphere, we like to spend about half a day here. And during the holidays, they even serve up festive foods and music. So, if you’re traveling to Walt Disney World during Christmastime, be sure to make time for this magical extra. 

Get  10% Off Surrey Bikes Rental

If you’ve ever been to Disney World, then chances are you’ve seen surrey bikes around the property. This fun recreational activity is available at select resorts, like Art of Animation, and the Port Orleans Resorts, and a bunch of other resorts around the property. You can even grab them as part of the extra fun on the Disney Boardwalk. Typically about $25 per half hour, you can get 10% off the price of a rental!
