Joffrey’s Coffee Recipes from Disney Festival of the Arts

Joffrey’s Coffee Recipes from Disney Festival of the Arts

Last year, we were able to attend Epcot’s Festival of the Arts and try all they had to offer in person. Since we are staying home this year, we knew we wanted to create a fun series for Festival of The Arts at home. And since of our favorite adventures during last year’s festival was the Joffrey’s Coffee crawl, we thought, what better way than to include Joffrey’s Coffee Recipes to the mix?! So we created these Candy Bar Coffee Recipes from Joffrey’s to help sweeten the season. Featuring M&M’s, Snickers, Milky Way and Twix, these are easy to make and fun!

We love our coffee recipes. As fans of Disney and coffee, we regularly make copycat recipes so that we can feel like we’re in the parks, at home. From the Cold Brew Black Caf Coffee at Disneyland to the S’mores Latte at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, we love being inspired by the Disney treats from our vacations.

Thankfully, to support our coffee habit, Joffrey’s locations can be found all over Walt Disney World. In fact, if you look at our Where to Find Coffee at Disney World, you’ll see Joffrey’s at several locations, simply because, they are the official coffee vendor for Disney Parks. This post is the result of one year when the Festival of the Arts coffees that Joffrey’s offered were all amazing. So much so, that we just had to make these Joffrey’s Coffee Recipes at home too. Here’s the lineup of what you need to make these Disney Copycat Recipes for Joffrey’s Iced Coffee.

Joffrey’s Coffee Recipes Ingredients

If you’re a coffee person, chances are you’ll have some of the Joffrey’s Coffee Recipes ingredients already on hand. A note on where to buy Joffrey’s coffee. While Joffrey’s is available on Amazon, intermittently, it is also available for sale on the official Joffrey’s Website. And sometimes, Joffrey’s has sales, and seasonal and limited edition flavors that are only available on the website. Plus, if you sign up for their newsletter you get a discount, so sometimes grabbing it on the website, instead of Amazon is cheaper. Okay, let’s jump into what you’ll need to make Joffrey’s Iced Coffee Recipes at home. Each recipe is a little different, but if you want to make all four, you’ll need:

  • Coffee. To stay true to the recipes, we chose to use Joffrey’s coffee beans, although you can use whatever coffee you like. We used the Espresso Blend and The Alto Mayo Blend
  • White and Dark Chocolate Mocha Sauce. We like Torani Syrups.
  • Peanut Butter Sauce. We made our own and will share the recipe below, but you can sometimes find this in grocery stores too
  • Swiss Chocolate Sauce. This is a hot fudge kind of sauce.
  • Dulce Le Leche. You can buy a pretty pricey version here, but we made our own and it’s super inexpensive and easy.
  • Caramel Sauce. Torani Caramel Syrup is best.
  • Brown Butter Toffee Syrup. We used Monin.
  • Milk of Choice
  • Candy pieces. For all four, you’ll need Twix, Snickers, Milky Way and M&M’s
  • Whipped Cream, if you like coffee with whipped cream

Each recipe has its own flavors, but if you only want to make one, check out the recipe card for that specific latte and that can save you from having to invest in too many ingredients.

Tips for Making Joffrey’s Coffee at Home

We used 8 oz of coffee in our recipes, but this can always be adjusted to how strong you like your coffee drinks. The same goes for your milk. If you prefer a more creamy latte, use more milk; and if you like a stronger coffee flavor, you can use less. And truthfully, you can do the same with syrups and sauces. The measurements we give you are really just a starting point and you can decide to change what you need to. We do like sweet coffee drinks, but not overly sweet and we still like to be able to taste the coffee flavor. So keep that in mind if you’re using these recipes exactly, and adjust what you want.

That’s one of the benefits of making these at home! You can adjust it to your tastes.  This can also be prepared hot or iced; for consistency, we iced all of our Joffrey’s Festival of the Arts drinks. And if you’re looking to really step up your lattes at home, we highly recommend getting a frother. We love this frother because it makes the lightest and most perfect foam in both hot and cold. We’ve had great luck with alternative milk with this frother too. If you’re looking for something smaller, this handheld frother is great; just be sure to warm your milk slightly if you’re doing a hot foam.

Tips for making Joffrey’s Iced Coffee Lattes

If you choose to make them iced as we did, I wanted to share one other recommendation when it comes to making lattes with sauces. If you’re making them iced, I recommend either adding the sauces, especially the thicker ones, while the coffee is hot or using a blender to make sure everything gets mixed in properly. We make a lot of iced coffee at home, so I have this blender on hand because it just helps make sure everything gets incorporated well.  Just be aware that if you mix the sauces in when the coffee is already cold, they’re likely to sink to the bottom and you may not taste much until you reach the bottom, and trust me, no one likes that!

Starry Night Milky Way Coffee Recipe

Joffrey’s Starry Night Latte is an espresso beverage, with dulce le Leche, White Chocolate, and Dark Chocolate. And it’s topped with whipped cream and milky way candy. For both of the Espresso drinks, we used Joffrey’s Espresso and prepared it in our moka pot.  But according to the package, it can be prepared without any fancy equipment just using a regular coffee pot.

The Starry Night Latte requires Dulce Le Leche, which is sweet and creamy and oh so delicious, but most importantly, very easy to make at home. There are more complicated methods, but the easiest way to make it uses only one ingredient sweetened condensed milk.

To make the Dulce Le Leche, start by preheating your oven to 425 F. Pour the sweetened condensed milk into a pie dish and wrap tightly with foil. Fill a deep cake pan or roasting pan about halfway with water, and set the pie dish inside. Place in the oven and allow to cook for about an hour and a half. You may want to check it about halfway through to make sure it doesn’t need more water added, but other than that, it’s really hands-off. When it’s done, lift the foil and you can leave it a bit longer if it needs more color, but otherwise, it’s ready to use! We let ours sit until it reaches room temperature, but you can use it right away if you want.

Ok, now that you have the Dulce Le Leche, you’re ready to make your latte! The recipe is just below, and remember, feel free to adjust the measurements to your tastes!

Joffrey's Caramel Canvas Latte; Festival of the Arts Joffrey's

Caramel Canvas Snickers Coffee Recipe

Joffrey’s Caramel Canvas Latte is an Artisan Latte with Peanut Butter Syrup, Caramel, and Dark Chocolate, topped with Snickers candy pieces.  For the peanut butter syrup, we used this recipe to make our own, but you can also purchase some at the grocery store in the ice cream sundae section. Making it at home is so easy and just requires sugar, water, and peanut butter, so if you can’t make it to the store, don’t let the idea of making it at home intimidate you. This one was our favorite of the four, and if you’re loving the peanut butter coffee trend right now, we think you’ll like this one a lot too!

Ingredients

  • 8 oz coffee

Color Me Latte M & M Coffee Recipe

Joffrey’s Color Me Latte is an Espresso beverage with Swiss chocolate syrup and dark chocolate syrup.  It’s topped with whipped cream and M&M’s for a pop of color.  If you can’t find Swiss Chocolate Syrup, you can always use milk chocolate syrup to replace it. I don’t personally notice much of a difference when it comes to flavor in coffee.

This one is pretty chocolatey because it mostly has chocolate; and if you’re a mocha lover, you’ll probably like this one. It’s super simple, and again, feel free to adjust the measurements based on your tastes.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz coffee
  • 4-6 oz milk of choice
  • 1 TBSP Swiss Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 TBSP Dark Chocolate Syrup
  • Whipped Cream
  • M&M candy pieces

Instructions

  3. If making latte iced, chill coffee until room temperature, usually about 20 mins. Blend coffee, sauces and milk together until well mixed. Pour over ice

Creative Twist Latte Twix Coffee Recipe

Joffrey’s Creative Twist latte is a latte with brown butter toffee syrup and Swiss chocolate syrup topped with Twix Bar candy pieces and whipped cream. This one was a bit sweet because both elements are sweeter by nature. And again you can customize the measurements based on your tastes. But if you can’t find brown butter toffee syrup or are looking for a more affordable option, you can always make it yourself. We used this recipe and it turned out really good, just make sure to let it sit long enough to thicken.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz coffee
  • 4-6 oz milk of choice
  • 1 1/2 TBSP Brown Butter Toffee Syrup
  • Whipped cream
  • 1 TBSP Swiss chocolate syrup
