Family Suites at All Star Music Resort Disney World

If you’re traveling to Walt Disney World and have a larger party, or just want some extra space, you may be looking for larger accommodations. While there are many options available at Disney, some of them can be quite expensive. But one often overlooked option are the Family Suites at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. Let’s take a look at what the family suites offer and what you can expect.

All Star Music at Walt Disney World is a value resort and one of three All Star resorts.  With larger than life musical icons throughout the resort, and touches of Disney magic, All Star Music has a fun theme that is sure to delight smaller travelers.

Since it is a value resort, the amenities are pretty minimal. But the resort still offers a fun main pool featuring the Three Caballeros and a quiet pool themed to a piano. Guests will find a pool bar as well as a food court, gift shop and arcade. Disney’s All Star Music resort offers standard rooms in 5 themed areas: Calypso, Jazz, County, Rock and Broadway. And it is the only All Star Resort that offers family suites.

Where are the Family Suites located at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort?

The family suites at Disney’s All Star Music Resort are located in the Calypso and Jazz sections, both of which are considered preferred buildings. This makes the location very convenient to the main pool, the main building and busses.

Family Suites Rooms

The family suites at Disney’s All Star Music Resort are spacious and can sleep up to 6. They come with 3 queen sized beds, 2 of which are pull down murphy beds. There is one bedroom separated from the main living space, which is nice for families or parties who want privacy or a quiet space for little ones who may go to bed earlier. There is a small kitchenette area that includes a full-size fridge with a freezer, a sink and plenty of prep space.

The room also comes with two full bathrooms, which is a game changer for larger parties. One bathroom has a tub, while the other has a walk-in shower. And both have vanity areas that can separate from the bathroom, which is really helpful when getting ready on park mornings.

Family Suites Review

Are the Family Suites at Walt Disney World worth it?  That depends! If you’re looking for a larger room, these are by far the cheapest rooms at Disney. Even if you were to rent DVC points at a Deluxe Resort, you wouldn’t find a price this low for a one-bedroom room. But, keep in mind that regardless of the room size, it’s still a value resort, which means you’ll have access to less amenities.

Busses are the only transportation here. And there are no table service restaurants. The All Star resorts all only offer one quick service restaurant, which is the food court and a pool bar. And the doors to the rooms are located on the outside of the building, making it set up more like a motel.  Whether or not it’s worth it to you may also depend on whether or not you want to stay at a Value Resort. So there’s a lot to consider when it comes to the value of these family suites at Disney.

If you just need a place to lay your head while traveling to Walt Disney World, then a value resort might be right for you! They are the cheapest resorts at Disney. The Value Resorts at Disneyworld offer less amenities and are less convenient than their moderate and deluxe counterparts. But if you’re looking for a budget accommodation at Disney, these are a great option to consider.
