If you’ve been to EPCOT at Walt Disney World you know the importance of finding the best food in each World Showcase country. And while the Italy pavilion has always been known for its amazing meals at Via Napoli, that delicious pizza at the Taglio Pizza window, and fine wines over at the Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar, a new Gelato place has arrived on the scene. Complete with classic Italian flavors, here is everything you can find at Gelateria Toscana.
This new walk-up gelato window can be found in EPCOT’s World Showcase Italy Pavilion. Located right next to Italy’s Enoteca Costella building, between Italy and the American Adventure pavilion, this new gelato stand is the perfect place to pick up your next Disney Snack!
Gelateria Toscana Atmosphere
The Gelateria Toscana window in EPCOT is in a small terracotta-colored building, outfitted with an iron gated walkway to lead guests up to the counter. There is also a small stone seating ledge surrounding a courtyard at the exit. This courtyard encompasses that area that leads into the gift shop. In addition to the nice seating, there are also stone-covered walls, planters, and a wooden door, sure to be a wonderful resting place for Disney guests. Exquisitely themed to the Italian pavilion this new gelateria is perfectly blended into the area and offers both a little shade and nighttime garden lighting.
The Menu at Gelateria Toscana
While all the menus at Disney’s food kiosks sometimes change, this new quick-serve walk-up counter currently offers gelati, sorbetti, gelati floats, and even little Italian desserts. In fact, you can even find one of our favorite treats, Affogato, on this menu in case you need an espresso pick-me-up.
Gelati in a Waffle Cone or Cup
If you’re looking for something portable, grab a waffle cone! This treat comes in several flavors including chocolate, vanilla, pistachio, cookies ‘cream, stracciatella, strawberry, or tiramisu.
Sorbetti in a Waffle Cone or Cup
Sorbetti is a little like sherbet. So if you’re looking for something fresh, this treat comes in lemon, raspberry, mixed berry, or mango.
Gelati Floats
Fior di Latte gelato with your choice of root beer or Coca-Cola. Fior di Latte is considered the purest form of gelato. There are no eggs, no fruit, no chocolate, no vanilla.
Coppa del Nonno
This “Grandpa’s Cup” gelato is fior di Latte, chocolate, and cookies ‘n cream gelati with chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and amaretti cookies.
Coppa Amicizia
This dessert features fior di Latte, cookies ‘n cream, and strawberry gelati with whipped cream.
Coppa Delizia
And if you’re more of a fruit gelato lover, then this strawberry treat may be just what you’re looking for. This one includes fior di Latte, strawberry, and cookies ‘n cream gelati with strawberry sauce and whipped cream.
“Affogato” Espresso Gelato
We love our affogato! As one of our favorite Coffees at Walt Disney World, this treat is fresh Italian espresso poured over Fior di Latte gelato with an amaretto cookie.
Cannoli al Cioccolato
We don’t know if this will be the same amazing cannoli we usually find in Italy, but we’re thrilled early way! This is a crisp pastry filled with sweet ricotta, chocolate, and candied orange.
Zeppole
Another Epcot festival favorite, Zeppole are like warm donut holes stuffed. Officially soft fried Ricotta cheese fritters dusted with powdered sugar, these little balls of goodness are a perfect light treat before dinner, or after!
Mocha Tiramisù
Nothing says Italian like Tiramasu. This dessert is super decadent and will require a seat to truly enjoy it! It’ s made with mascarpone cream, espresso coffee, savoiardi biscuits, and chocolate.
Select Refreshments
And, of course, Gelateria Toscana will have select refreshments as well! Including specialty non-alcoholic beverages along with cocktails, beer, and wine are also available.
