While Walt Disney World is covered with restaurants, there are a few we always find ourselves visiting. Whether it’s for the convenience, the atmosphere or the menu, we have our favorites. And having tried so many Disney World restaurants, it’s takes quite a bit to make it on our repeat Disney restaurant list. Of course, the atmosphere at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a favorite, so it should come as no surprise, that it’s the atmosphere at Geyser Point Bar and Grill, that really sold us. If you’re looking for Wilderness Lodge Dining options, then settle in, because we’re sharing everything to know about Geyser Point Bar and Grill.
If you’ve been to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, then you know the theming, the ambiance, and the convenience of Magic Kingdom by boat is a godsend. There is no better way to get out of the theme park chaos, then by heading to this resort, for a calm, outdoorsy vibe akin to the wilds of the Pacific Northwest.

Wilderness Lodge Dining options vary. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite to eat, grabbing a drink before dinner, a character meal, or a sit-down restaurant, Wilderness Lodge has you covered.
- Roaring Fork is the resort’s main quick-service dining option, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner offered.
- Territory Lounge is the resort’s lounge/bar that’s super cozy and tucked away. Perfect for grabbing a drink or just relaxing mid-day with a snack.
- Story Book Dining at Artist Point features Snow White, the dwarves, and the Evil Queen herself complete with a wild menu, featuring impressive food for both kids and grown ups. And for the character meal-loving fans, Story Book Dining at Artist Point in our opinion, is one of the best character meals at Walt Disney World.
- Whispering Canyon is the main sit-down restaurant, and even though their shenanigans are a bit much for some, they have great food and are generally fairly reasonably priced.
- Finally, Geyser Point Bar and Grill is the slightly casual, waterfront bar and grill at Wilderness Lodge.

Mobile order offers most of the items available on the regular menu. With the exception of cocktails, there are even a few alcoholic drinks like beer or wine from the mobile order menu. You can mobile order right through the My Disney Experience app, and choose the time that works best for you.
This is a super convenient option for those who maybe want to escape the summer heat or rain, or just want a relaxing night in. You can also take your food to go and sit at any of the tables near the restaurant as well.
Geyser Point Bar and Grill Walk Up List
Geyser Point Bar and Grill utilizes a walk-up list during busier times. You can check to see how long the wait is just by looking in the My Disney Experience app. And you can either join the walk-up list on the app or have it added in person. During the day, the wait is usually pretty minimal, but at dinnertime, you can expect it to be a little longer.
You generally can’t put your name on the walk-up list until you’re in reasonable proximity to the restaurant. So if you’re on the boat from Magic Kingdom and want to join it, you’ll need to wait until you disembark to have your name added. You can’t make reservations at Geyser Point Bar and Grill, so your best bet is to plan when you want to eat there and try to be at Wilderness Lodge about 20-30 minutes beforehand.

Geyser Point Bar and Grill Atmosphere
Just like all Wilderness Lodge Dining, Geyser Point Bar and Grill comes with it’s own well themed ambiance. The restaurant is open-air and looks out over the water. So it’s a perfect place to enjoy a sunset or just an outdoor meal shaded by the Florida sun. Featuring the rustic architecture you can find across the resort, wood beams, and stone features are the standard. But in a covered outdoor dining environment this becomes especially helpful for that hot Florida weather. Situated waterside, you can gaze out onto Bay Lake between the resort and Magic Kingdom, both from inside the restaurant, and from small alcove spaces closer to the water.
You can grab a stool at the bar, tables, or in any of the lounge seating areas. The garden spaces just outside the restaurant also features small sofas and outdoor furniture as well. In fact, this restaurant is one of our favorite places to be during the electrical Water Pageant Parade because the view is fantastic!
Geyser Point Bar and Grill is also home to the outdoor Disney Resort Mug Refill station, where you can get your fountain drinks with your meal, or just refill your mug.

Also featuring a kid’s menu that includes chicken strips and cheese pizza, kid’s can eat here for less than $10. We think this makes Geyser Point Bar and Grill perfect if you’re need a break from the pool, or want to get out of the Magic Kingdom crowds, for a meal.

Rib-eye Steak Sandwich
This Rib-eye Steak Sandwich comes with Caramelized Onions, Provolone, Garlic Aïoli, Au Jus on Sourdough Roll, and fries. A bigger meal than we expected, this dish was $22 and absolutely delicious. Plus, big enough to share if you’re sticking to a tight budget.

Charcuterie
We’re big fans of charcuterie, pretty much anywhere, and at Geyser Point Bar and Grill, we weren’t disappointed! A combo of crusty sourdough bread, fruit, cheese and meats, this was an excellent appetizer to share. For $18, we’ve actually joked that could have been our entire dinner. It’s massive!

Bison Cheeseburger
One of the signature dishes at Geyser Point Bar and Grill is the Bison Cheeseburger. Served with Bacon, Sweet Crispy Onion Straws, Marionberry Sauce, and Garlic Aïoli this one is hearty and flavorful. Perfect as a specialty burger you can’t really get anywhere else, we loved the house made chips here too. Although this cheeseburger doesn’t compare to that of Steakhouse 71, or even Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Coronado Springs, it’s pretty fantastic. Especially if you prefer bison over ground beef. Priced at $25.

Half-Rack of Barbecue Ribs
Only recommended if you’re starving or sharing, the House-smoked Barbecue Ribs, comes French Fries, and Coleslaw. Priced at about $30, this is a huge, and filling meal. Pretty good for what it is, and the portion size is appropriate for the cost.
Multigrain Salad with Chicken
Absolutely fantastic and oversized, these salad was very flavorful and highly recommended. Including Mixed Greens, Quinoa, Apples, Goat Cheese, Golden Raisins, Candied Walnuts, and Apple Cider Vinaigrette. The quinoa makes this is an absolutely complete meal, and so much more than just a salad. Priced at $18, we would get this again. Absolutely delicious, and also offered with salmon or steak.
Desserts
Geyser Point Bar and Grill has a few desserts, priced between $8-$10, and a great addition to a meal or to have with a drink. Again we love coming here later in the evening to watch the water pageant, and love a little dessert to go with the show.
- Coffee and Doughnuts Crème Brûlée
- Campfire Mousse
- Seasonal Pie
- Apple Cider Sorbet with Berries (Plant-based)
Cocktails
There are a variety of specialty cocktails at this bar. Everything from Coconut Mango Cocktail to Huckleberry Punch and a Northwest Iced Tea, is on the menu. Sunshine Margarita, Bourbon Breeze, an even a Blueberry Lemonade, give you plenty of things to try on your next visit. Themed to the resort, these drinks range from $15- $20 depending on what you get. We’ve had a few of these drinks, all worth it, and they are definitely a little stronger than some you’ll find in the Parks. Consider yourself warned!
Geyser Point Bar and Grill Cost
Prices are pretty reasonable at Geyser Point Bar and Grill, with entrees ranging from $20-$30 each. Appetizers are between $10-$20, desserts between $8-$10 and cocktails from about $15- $20 on average, depending on what you order. Kid’s meals are under $10. Geyser Point Bar and Grill Review
Not every deluxe resort offers something like Geyser Point Bar and Grill at Wilderness Lodge. And being able to sit waterside, in a casual restaurant was such a treat. The food was excellent and the portions were decent. And for the price, we thought the food was very good quality.
We’ve actually never had something here we didn’t like. Overall, we love Geyser Point Bar and Grill. It’s become one of our favorite Disney restaurants that doesn’t require a reservation. Just like Wilderness Lodge itself, the ambiance is perfect. We’ve always had good service, the food is reasonably priced and delicious. Can’t go wrong with that! Have you eaten here before? We highly recommend adding it to your Disney dining list!
