Wilderness Lodge is just the coziest resort you’ll find on Walt Disney World property. With its rustic feel and welcoming atmosphere, it’s the kind of place you could go and just relax for hours. They also have some of the best Disney Resort quick-service food on the property at Roaring Fork, where we discovered the S’more latte a few years ago. And of course, we had to create a copycat recipe! Here’s our best attempt at a S’mores latte inspired by Wilderness Lodge.

We love resort hopping at Walt Disney World. Sometimes we actually prefer it to going to the Parks! It’s a great way to explore with less crowds, and there’s plenty to see and do at the resorts. It’s also a great way to find new food! And that’s how actually we discovered the S’mores latte from Roaring Fork Cafe. We are always on the lookout for good coffee at Walt Disney World. And until the last couple of years, good coffee has been hard to find. So we were excited to see that Wilderness Lodge had a few unique offerings. And you don’t even need to be a guest here to enjoy it. Just take the ferry from Magic Kingdom and you’re on your way to enjoying this delicious coffee.
Walt Disney World’s Wilderness Lodge Resort is a Disney fan favorite. But it can be a little on the pricey side. We recommend visiting it even if you’re not planning to stay here though. They have plenty of restaurants to enjoy and the entire atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. Wilderness Lodge is easy to get to from Magic Kingdom. Just take the ferry over! And if you happen to be staying at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, it’s an easy bus ride over.

If you’re looking to add something special to your Halloween Coffee Bar, or just another Fall comfort food, then this recipe is what you’re looking for. You can make this latte hot or iced and it’s perfect for warm autumn breezes, or cozy fall and winter days.
How to Make a S’mores Latte
We decided to be a little daring with this one and tried a few different ways to make it. We love the process of making an elaborate latte, but you can definitely feel free to simplify this. First, you’ll want to start by crushing your graham crackers VERY fine. We used a pestle and mortar for this. But you can use any method that will get extremely fine crumbs. You can make chunkier crumbs if you choose, but keep in mind this will be going in your drink, so you’ll probably want to keep them very fine. Then you’ll brew your espresso, and while you’re doing that, add the marshmallow topping and chocolate sauce to your mug. Pour the espresso over that once it’s ready and whisk together. Pour the milk over that and stir. We used Smucker’s Marshmallow topping for this, but if you can’t find that, you could also use Marshmallow Fluff. You’ll likely just have to whisk it together longer.
Then we create the graham cracker foam! This step is not entirely necessary, but we love the graham cracker flavor to really make this taste like a s’mores. Add half and half, heavy cream, vanilla syrup, and graham cracker crumbs to a dish and whisk together until thick and foamy. We use this frother, but a manual one works as well. Pour over the latte and add marshmallows. Now for the fun part! If you have a kitchen torch, roast those marshmallows! If you’re making this iced, you won’t really get the benefits of a toasted marshmallow other than it’s pretty to look at. But if you choose to have this hot, once the marshmallows start to melt in your latte, it’ll add a very nice roasted flavor. Yum!
A note about making this hot: There’s not really any difference between making this hot and making this iced. Other than the temperature. But if you do plan to make this hot, we recommend steaming the milk before pouring it in with your espresso.
