If you’ve been with us for a while, then you’ll know we love a theme. Especially at Disney. And since we often tend to be at Disney for Pi Day, we are always on the hunt for pie. Now, just in case you don’t know what Pi Day is, it’s March 14. Or 3.14, as in the mathematical value of Pi. And yes, we do celebrate that in this house. Ok, so now that’s out of the way, let’s dive into where you can find Pie at Disney World for Pi Day!
Pie at Disney World
Disney has so many delicious snacks. Cakes, cookies, Mickey Bars, pretzels. But sometimes, maybe you just want pie! Or at least, sometimes I just want pie. One thing to keep in mind is that Disney is constantly changing its menus. Like all the time. And not always for the better. So we’re doing our best to keep these pie selections as accurate and up to date as possible. But always check menus before going on the hunt for any certain pie to make sure Disney is still selling it.
We’ve tracked down sweet and savory pies and will hopefully continue to expand this list as we find more! Also, just a quick disclosure: we did find other pies at Walt Disney World. But not all of them were actually good. So, we decided to only include pies at Disney that we would buy again.
Pi Day at Disney
Does Disney do anything special for Pi Day? No. Likely because many people don’t actually know what it is. And that would take a lot of effort honestly to roll out a bunch of special pies just for one day. But that’s ok! Because there’s still pie to be had at Disney World, and you can make your own kind of fun.
When we are at home, we have pie for every meal. Think, Breakfast Pie, like maybe a quiche or the breakfast pizza from Trattoria Al Forno. And then we usually try to do a pot pie for lunch or dinner, pizza “pie” as one of those meals and of course a sweet pie for dessert. Now, this would be a lot of Pi to have at Disney in one day. But if you want to create a little theme or challenge for yourself surrounding Pie on Pi day, this post is for you.
Plant Based Shepherd’s Pie at Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge
This plant-based Shepherd’s Pie can be found both at Hollywood Brown Derby, and Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge. With lentils instead of meat, this Shepherd’s Pie is fantastic, flavorful and is something I think even many meat eaters would enjoy. A bit on the pricier side though, at $33. But everything at Hollywood Brown Derby is more expensive, so it’s not really shocking.
See the full menu for Hollywood Brown Derby here.
Baked Alaska Key Lime Pie at Summer House on the Lake
Summer House is the newest restaurant at Disney Springs. And it is delicious! Aside from a great line up of California style foods, it also has this incredible Baked Alaska Key Lime Pie. This is a huge serving size, so don’t let the $17 price tag scare you away from trying it. We shared this amongst the three of us and still cound’t finish it. With a graham cracker crust, shredded coconut and meringue topping, this frozen key lime pie is the perfect dessert for a warm day in Orlando.

Caramel Apple-Pecan Hand Pie at The Friar’s Nook
Though flaky, warm apple pie is maybe not what you’d expect from The Friar’s Nook, this was one of the best pies we tried at Disney World. This hand pie is a decent portion size, is filled with warm, delicious apple filling and will only set you back $5.99.
Key Lime Pie Tart at Pinocchio Village Haus
Another Key Lime Pie at Disney (I mean it’s Florida, of course there will be Key Lime Pie, right), this one can be found at Pinocchio Village Haus. Creamy and tart, we were actually pleasantly surprised that this was pretty good! For $5.49, this comes with whipped cream, which we agreed we would have preferred more of. But overall, it was a very tasty and refreshing dessert.
Mango Pie at Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe
The Mango Pie at Disney tends to spark a little bit of a debate. Kenny’s pie fans say they are charging way too much, since you can often find this same pie at grocery store sections for just a few dollars. But this post isn’t about the upcharge Disney puts on its food items, so we will save that for another discussion. This pie is pretty small. But it’s very rich and creamy. And if you’re a fan of mangoes, you’ll probably love this. Though it’s not always listed on their online menu, you can find this for $7.99 at Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe in Animal Kingdom.
Key Lime Pie at Boardwalk Deli
The Boardwalk Deli has its own version of Key Lime Pie. Of the three Key Lime Pies we tried at Disney, this may have been our least favorite, but we still liked it and felt it worthy to add to this list. This tiny treat is available for $4.99 and can even be ordered using mobile order.
Shepherd’s Pie at Rose and Crown
Though you’ll have to order this via Table Service at Disney, the Shepherd’s Pie at Rose and Crown is a great comfort food for chillier times of the year. A traditional Shepherd’s Pie with meat, veggies and potatoes, this meal will cost you $27. But it’s quite filling and is a great savory pie.
You can see the full menu and check dining availability for Rose and Crown here.
Whether you’re traveling to Disney on Pi Day or any other day, hopefully this list helps you find the perfect Pie at Walt Disney World.
