If you’re visiting Disneyland Resort this summer, then get ready for all things Pixar! The Disneyland Pixar Fest returns to Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure, April 26-Aug. 4, 2024 and with it comes loads of new snacks, a parade, a projection show on the castle, special character meet and greets and more. Here’s the lineup of everything you can do at Disneyland Pixar Fest in 2024.
What is Pixar Fest at Disneyland?
Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort honors all things Pixar, and features a variety of food, decor, experiences, shows, and more across Disneyland Park, Disney’s California Adventure, and Downtown Disney. In fact you can even see a 25-foot-tall sculpture celebrating friendship and highlighting the iconic Pixar Ball between the gates of both parks! Adding the Pixar theme to the parks throughout the summer, you’ll get to see characters, parades, shows and more inspired by Coco, Red Panda, Toy Story, Elemental and all your favorite Pixar films.

Is the Disneyland Pixar Fest FREE?
The Disneyland Pixar Fest is included in the price of your park ticket! There are however Pixar Fest things to do in Downtown Disney as well, which doesn’t require a park ticket. If you’re visiting for one day, you should plan to add the park hopper to cover both parks. Of course, Merchandise, Snacks and Photo Ops are available across both parks and Downtown Disney. Here are the events taking place in each park.

Together Forever Pixar Nighttime Spectacular Fireworks Show Disneyland Park
Shown at Disneyland Park, 9:30 PM, the Together Forever Fireworks Show is all about friendship. Featuring the UP! House floating high above the castle. Plus scenes featuring Onward, Soul, Luca, Turning Red, and Elemental. Colorful scenes, music and a laser show all make this a MUST-SEE Fireworks show. Can you even go to a Disney Park without seeing their fireworks show? The Together Forever Fireworks show happens at Disneyland Park with projections on both the castle and on the Main Street buildings. For the best view, we recommend standing in the middle of Main Street, far enough back that you can see the buildings. A lot of people waited hours for a close up seat of the castle, but unfortunately, you then miss out on the excitement happening on the Main Street buildings, which was actually our favorite part. If the close up castle view is what you prefer, again, get there very early. People were always sitting at the castle a few hours prior. The Disneyland Fireworks Show takes place typically at 9:30 PM.
Better Together Parade a Pixar Pals Celebration Disney’s California Adventure
This Pixar parade includes so many Disney characters from Luca, Soul, Coco, Incredibles, Toy Story and more. Featuring music from everyone’s favorite boy band, 4*Town, you can see Mei, and Red Panda. Plus Joe Gardner and 22 from Soul, get float time too. Even better, Luca, Alberto, Giulia, Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, Miguel, Mike and Sulley and Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear are all part of the show. Each on separate floats beautifully decorated this parade features 2 new floats in 2024.
Club Pixar Disney’s California Adventure
Found in the Hollywood Backlot of Disney’s California Adventure, you can grab photos against Pixar themed backdrops. And in the evenings, get ready for a dance party, complete with an interactive DJ, live performances, games, themed food and more! Add in opportunities to meet Disney Pixar characters and a party atmosphere, you won’t find this anywhere else.
Pixar Pals Playtime Party at Disneyland Park
Offered a few times a day at the Fantasyland Theater, you can see the Pixar Pals in action! This is a high energy show with photo ops, interactive game locations, and a dance party onstage. If you have kids who need to burn off some energy, then be sure to head to Fantasyland Theater to give them Featuring the Incredibles, Inside Out and Toy Story characters, this a fun experience to add to your day.
Meet New Pixar Characters
Get ready for favorite Pixar characters to pose and snap your best pic! Friends from Inside Out, and The Incredibles are included. Featuring Joy and Sadness, Frozone, and Mr. and Mrs. Incredible. Plus, for the first time ever, you can see Ember and Wade from Elemental! You can also grab all your favorite Pixar Merchandise at the Disney Store!
Disneyland Pixar Fest Snacks and Food Marketplaces
As with any special Disney event, there are loads of snacks and foods all themed to Pixar fun. Our favorite? The Pixar Cake featuring layers of red, blue and yellow, all topped with white frosting, and a Pixar ball piece. Of course it’s just one of many Pixar Snacks worth trying. Pixar dining can also be had at Troubadour Tavern with a Pixar inspired menu, and Coco inspired menu items at Parade Garden Grill.
Pixar Fest Marketplaces Open May 10, 2024

Disneyland Pixar Fest Merchandise
First, you can grab the classic Popcorn Bucket, specially themed to Pizza Planet. Then perhaps a new crossbody bag, or jersey. Whatever you wish, be sure to take a look at the collectible Medallions for Pixar Fest. Featuring merchandise from Pizza Planet, Monsters Inc, and more, you can grab the merch starting in April. Collectible Medallions include Toy Story, A Bug’s Life, Elemental, and more!
Disneyland Pixar Fest Photo Ops
You can find photo ops everywhere, including Downtown Disney and both parks, there are plenty of ways to share your Pixar Fest experience. Be on the lookout for pop up photo opportunities, backdrops and signs honoring Pixar Fest during your day at Disney!
