Haunted Mansion Holiday| Disneyland
The BEST reason to make the trip to Disneyland in the Fall is the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay featuring Jack Skellington and friends from Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas. This Haunted Mansion holiday overlay means the Haunted Mansion closes for a bit before the season starts. But when it opens you can see unique NBC decor, and Jack Skellington himself overtaking the Haunted Mansion’s happy haunts. PLUS, every year gets a brand new Nightmare Before Christmas-themed Gingerbread house inside the Haunted Mansion’s iconic dining room. Perfect for Halloween and Christmas!
Halloween Screams Fireworks | Disneyland
Halloween at Disneyland is made all the more fun with the Disney Villains in this Fireworks Show! This Disney Villains Halloween Fireworks Show at Disneyland Park runs 10 minutes and is shown on select nights throughout the season. Just in time for Halloween, you can join friends from the Guardians of the Galaxy for spooky fun at Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Breakout. This ride is set to fun Halloween Music and is one of the most fun rides! Get ready for unexpected drops and lots of Guardians fun!
Radiator Screams
Head to Cars Land to see your favorite Radiator Springs Racers all decked out in Halloween attire. Another super fun way to add more fun to the Halloween season at Disneyland is to see the Cars themselves all dressed up. While these are just photo ops Cars Land offers some of the best Halloween pictures at the park.
Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween
Celebrate Luigi’s favorite holiday at the honkin’-est dance party in Radiator Screams. One of our favorite rides at the park for Halloween, this one is just a bunch of cars, that dance to the music.
Maters Graveyard Jam-BOO-ree
Another Halloween overlay in Cars Land, this ride features high-spirited fun to great music. A perfect way to get into the Disneyland Halloween mood.
Plaza de la Familia | Disney’s California Adventure Park
Celebrate the Day of the Dead at Disneyland through September and October with Coco. Honoring Family and the Spirit of Día de Los Muertos in Disney’s California Adventure Park, you can experience this cultural event with food, song, and special events.

Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit | Downtown Disney

Halloween Display at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel
Displayed in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, accessible from Disney’s California Adventure Park you can see a larger-than-life Halloween display made from Rice Krispie treats! Complete with 15 hidden Mickeys, this is one of our favorite Fun and Free Things to do at Disneyland. Each year the characters, and design change, so it makes for a lovely tradition on an annual trip. Plus visiting Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel is always a treat!
