If you’re thinking that getting to Topolino’s Terrace may be tough, think again! There are lots of ways to get to the Disney Riviera Resort, by taking the bus or the skyliner, and it’s a great way to add some Disney Resort hopping to your trip. Here’s how you get to the Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast at Disney’s Rivera Resort.
How do you get to Topolino’s Terrace Restaurant?
Topolino’s Terrace is located at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Luckily, this Disney Deluxe Resort is on the Disney’s Skyliner line. Which means you can easily get here from any of the Disney Skyliner Resorts, Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
- If you’re staying at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, just follow the pathway to the Rivera, it’s about 10-20 minute walk depending on which part of the resort you’re coming from.
- From Hollywood Studios, you would simply grab the Skyliner to the Caribbean Beach Skyliner Station and then either walk to the Rivera, or transfer to the “Epcot Skyliner” and depart at the Disney Rivera stop.
- Or if you’re coming from EPCOT, just hop on the Skyliner at the International Gateway ( Near France and the UK in the World Showcase) and take it to the Disney Riviera Resort.
- From any other Disney Park or Disney Springs, you can simply grab a Disney Bus to the Rivera Resort to make things easy.

Topolino’s Terrace Breakfast Atmosphere
Topolino’s Terrace is pretty laid back with a fun element to it, but the setting is quite relaxing and not too over the top. It’s not really wildly themed, but has more of a simple elegance; which I think lends to the fact that one of it’s best qualities is that its a rooftop restaurant. Although you don’t eat outside, you can see some pretty amazing views from the large windows and even take a stroll out onto the balcony after your meal. The restaurant feels pretty spacious, which is always nice, especially when dining with characters. This may have actually been one of my favorite parts of the restaurant, because even though it’s nothing super special, the views of the Caribbean Beach Resort are really beautiful and it’s a nice way to be able to just relax before plunging back into the faster pace of your trip.
Breakfast à la Art with Mickey & Friends
The Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast is called Breakfast a la Art with Mickey and Friends and includes all sorts of fun! Mickey and his friends are all here to share their special talents as artists. Not only can you meet each of these fun art clad characters, but there is also a small show intermittently throughout breakfast with music and dancing. It’s super cute and a whole lot of fun.

What Characters are at the Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast?
- Painter Mickey: Mickey Mouse, a painter, leads the show in his paint splattered costume.
- Poet Minnie: Minnie is a picture perfect poet. We absolutely love her style and kinda think we are going to have to put together some type of outfit as a tribute to her next time we try this breakfast.
- Ballerina Daisy: Always our favorite sassy lady, is dressed to dance. Get your cameras ready because she likes to show off her moves during the celebration and well, it may just be the most adorable thing ever.
- Sculptor Donald: Donald heads to your table with paintbrushes in hand and a little dance ready if you are. Always a favorite to meet.
Like all character meals, the Disney characters at Topolino Terrace come around throughout the meal, which is always a perk of character meals since you don’t have to worry about waiting in line or being outside. Both of those things are huge wins for us at Walt Disney World because, well Florida weather can be rough and these days, the crowds are more and more unpredictable all the time.
We felt like each of the characters spent a good amount of time at our table and we never felt rushed. We saw this pretty consistently for other families during our meal as well and it was really nice to be able to have a casual and laid back experience to start the day. Much less chaotic than Chef Mickey’s Character Breakfast and such a better Disney character experience.
Topolino’s Terrace Breakfast Menu
The breakfast menu at Topolino’s Terrace is a little different than a standard breakfast menu at Walt Disney World and we love it for that. They have a really great variety and even some delicious plant based options, which is always a huge plus for us because Rochelle is a vegetarian and sometimes finding really good food she can eat out is a challenge. Topolino’s Terrace full breakfast menu can be found here, and if you have any food allergies/sensitivities, just ask to speak with the chef. For our breakfast, we ordered the Wild Mushroom Scramble, the Sour Cream Waffles and Wood-fired Steak and Eggs, and all of it was delicious.
Breakfast Pastries
The Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast meal starts out with an assortment of pastries brought out to your table in the cutest little paint bucket. We loved this as a starter because it reminded us of Animator’s Palate on Disney Cruise Line, which always tops the list for us when it comes to dining onboard. Your pastry assortment includes muffins, croissants and Epi Bread, accompanied by a few different spreads to enjoy with your pastries. This was a really nice way to start the meal, and some of the characters even visited us during this time, which made it a lot easier to interact without having full plates on the table.
Wild Mushroom Scramble
The Wild Mushroom scramble is plant based and comes with plant based eggs and plant based sausage. We are always a little leery of plant based options but these were both delicious! The dish offered an elevated breakfast option we simply couldn’t get anywhere else. This Wild Mushroom Scramble includes Spinach, Plant-based Eggs, Plant-based Sausage, Tomatoes.
Sour Cream Waffle
The Sour Cream Waffles were also fantastic! Light, fluffy and topped with goodness. The toppings of apple, Chantilly and orange maple syrup really make this stand out and we really enjoyed the unique fresh flavors of these. These also have the option of plant based sausage for a side, but come with eggs and a breakfast meat of your choice. Featuring Roasted Apples, Chantilly, Orange-Maple Syrup, and served with choice of Smoked Bacon, Ham, Sausage, or Plant-based Sausage.
Wood Fired Steak and Eggs
The Wood Fired Butcher’s steak was actually the one I was most worried about because I feel in general there are always things that can go wrong with steak for breakfast; but I was really pleasantly surprised! This may have actually been one of my favorite steak meals at Walt Disney World so far as it was full of flavor, perfectly cooked and overall everything on the plate just worked. It’s served with veggies, polenta and a side of eggs and there wasn’t anything on the plate I would have changed. This dish includes Wood fired Steak, Polenta, Pomodoraccio Tomatoes, Roasted Potatoes, Wild Mushroom Conserva, choice of Two Eggs-Any Style. By far the best value for the price at Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast.
Coffee at Topolino’s Terrace
As a restaurant that features Italian and French cuisines, it’s no surprise that the coffee served here is exquisite. You can choose from double espresso, macchiato, latte, mocha, and cappuccino. While these are not included in the Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast cost, they are only about $4-6 extra.
Breakfast Cocktails at Topolino Terrace
While specialty drinks are above the cost of the breakfast, there are quite a few options here to choose from. Zero proof cocktails include a Riviera Spicy Bloody Mary, and Pineapple-Jalapeno Margarita, and a Peche Repose. Of course you can also get breakfast cocktails like Mimosas, Bellini’s and a Bloody Mary.
Topolino’s Terrace Breakfast Cost
Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast costs $49 per adult and $30 per child. This is equivalent to most character dining experiences at Disney World, with one exception, it’s not a buffet meal, or all you care to enjoy. But with such great character experiences we are willing to say its a good idea to eat here.
Mainly because we were really surprised with how good the food actually is. I didn’t feel that was the case at all here and I would happily come back to eat here any time. For kids, they have a pretty basic menu, but with still enough variety that I think most little ones will find something they like. Plant based options are also available on the kids menu, which we think is a great option too, since not all restaurants offer that.
Is Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast Worth the price?
Are you willing to spend $49 on breakfast? Or $30 for your child? Value is something that is always really hard to nail down because everyone looks at it differently, but for us yes it was absolutely worth it. At $49 for adults and $30 for children, Topolino’s Terrace Character Breakfast is definitely not the cheapest meal on Walt Disney World property, but it’s also nowhere close to being the most expensive. And frankly, we don’t think this is too pricey for a character breakfast with the Fab Four and amazing food with gorgeous views. Pretty good for Walt Disney World standards. After Breakfast at Cindrella’s Royal Table, we’re very conscious about breakfast food and how much we’re willing to pay for it.
