All About Dahlia Lounge at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Drinks at Dahlia Lounge Coronado Disney

If you’re looking for the best lounges at Disney World, look no further. Whether you’re on a girl’s trip to Disney, an adult only trip, looking for a good Disney Date Night spot, or just want somewhere to take a nice break, Dahlia Lounge fits the bill. Located at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World, this rooftop lounge is elegant, beautiful and has some of the best drinks around. Here’s all you need to know about Dahlia Lounge at Disney’s Coronado Springs Gran Destino Tower.

For those looking for a deluxe feel at a moderate price, Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs is the perfect fit. Offering much more than most moderate Disney resorts, the Gran Destino Tower is home to two amazing lounges; Barcelona Lounge and Dahlia Lounge. And while the Barcelona Lounge sits on the ground floor of the tower, with views of the water, and signature coffees, Dahlia Lounge rises all the way up to the 16th floor for rooftop views of Hollywood Studios and EPCOT Park. Here’s everything you need to know about the Dahlia Lounge, and a bunch of reasons why we think you should make the trip.

Coronado Springs Destino Tower

Dahlia Lounge Details

Dahlia Lounge is located on the 16th floor of Gran Destino Tower, right across from the amazing restaurant, Toledo. If you’ve followed this blog for any amount of time, then you’ll likely know we have a slight obsession with Toledo. Not only is it beautiful, but the quality of the food is easily some of the best you’ll find at Disney World. And the lounge is is a great place to stop before and after your Toledo Reservation. Or, of course completely on its own.

Lounge Hours

  • Bar and Lounge: 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Dahlia Lounge Location

Located at Disney’s Coronado Springs in the main building, you can find Dahlia Lounge in the Gran Destino Tower. To get here, you can simply take a Disney Bus to Coronado Springs from any Disney Park, or Disney Springs. Just remember that Disney bus service ends one hour after park close, and there are no resort-to resort buses. As such, if you’re planning a late night, you may want to uber back to your resort, or be sure to be back at a park before close to catch a bus back to your resort.

If you’re staying at Coronado Springs Resort, it’s located inside the Gran Destino Tower on the 16th floor. However, if you’re staying at another Disney Resort, getting there may be a little more difficult. The easiest way, in our opinion, to get from resort to resort is simply to Uber.

For guests staying at another resort who don’t want to Uber, you’ll need to take your resort’s transportation to any park or Disney Springs, and then take the bus to Coronado Springs. Get off at the Gran Destino bus stop (usually the last bus stop) and head up to the 16th floor.

Disney Pro Tip: Coronado Springs is closest to Animal Kingdom. So, if you decide to visit Dahlia Lounge and don’t already have park plans, Animal Kingdom Lodge is a good choice. That being said, it’s also very close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios, so any of these parks are good options to take this adventure from.

Obviously if you’re a local, you can also just drive to Coronado Springs. They don’t tend to be as stingy with the parking there as they are at other resorts. Likely because it’s not one people tend to take advantage of its location. Generally you need a reservation for one of the resorts restaurants, and you can park for up to 3 hours.

Is there a dress code at Dahlia Lounge?

Nope! Much like most of the lounges at Disney, as long as you’re not arriving in a swimsuit or without shoes, you’re probably fine. The atmosphere is such that you might want to dress a bit nicer, but it’s not required.

Is Dahlia Lounge Kid Friendly?

Yep! Like most of the lounges at Walt Disney World, you are welcome to bring your little tykes along with you.

Can you watch the Disney fireworks from Dahlia Lounge?

Yes you can! And they are beautiful. There is a balcony outside of the lounge that make watching the fireworks from the resort easy. Dahlia Lounge offers stunning views of the Epcot fireworks from the 16th floor.

Dahlia Lounge Atmosphere

At this lounge you can find Spanish flair with drinks and small plates to match. It is essentially the resort’s rooftop bar. With a bar and lounge inside, and a balcony outside, there’s plenty of places to find a seat. And the atmosphere is relaxing, making it a great way to unwind after a long day. Though it can get very loud during busier times, you can always escape to the outside balcony area to take a break from the noise.

Dahlia lounge offers stunning views of Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.  With floor to ceiling windows, you don’t even need to go outside for the views! The space is really beautiful and I mean, look at those floor tiles! Just gorgeous.

Food at Dahlia Lounge Disney World

Dahlia Lounge Menu – Tapas

Dahlia actually serves some of the same tapas you’ll find at Toledo. With options like chicken wings, croquettes, crispy artichokes and shrimp cocktail, they have a more extensive food menu than many of the other lounges at Disney. We are big fans of the Ham and Cheese Bocadillo, which is super flavorful and big enough to share. Ranging in price from $10- $40, cost of your small plates depend on what you get. And yes, they have churros!

  • Tapas Trio: Octopus Ceviche, ‘Aceitunas’ Marinated Olives, Tomato Spread with Grilled Bread
  • Dahlia Sliders: Beef with Chorizo Spice, Black Garlic Aïoli, House-pickled Onions, and Manchego on a Brioche Poppy Seed Bun with Patatas Bravas Sauce

Dahlia Lounge Menu – Drinks

In addition to food, Dahlia also carries plenty of drink options. With a full coffee menu, both alcoholic and non, specialty cocktails, and beers,  there is something for pretty much every taste here. You can see the full menu for Dahlia Lounge here, but there are several signature drinks that are worth mentioning. And of course, there is also a wonderful array of Spanish wines.

Disney’s Dahlia Lounge Review

In our opinion, Dahlia Lounge is a must do for any adult at Disney looking to relax and unwind in a beautiful space. Simply one of the best resorts, Disney’s Coronado Springs has so many hidden treasures here, that are well worth the stop. And if you’re lucky enough to have a dinner reservation at Toledo, be sure to stop here before or after for the perfect end to your night out on the town.
