Disney Christmas Movies, disney christmas movie night, christmas movies,

While there are so many amazing Disney Christmas Movies on Disney+ Plus to choose from, we definitely have a few favorites that we keep watching over and over again every year. In fact, on this blog, you can also find all of our favorite Very Merry Disney Christmas Movies for the family and the Disney Channel Christmas Episode List too. There are simply too many to choose to watch in just one Christmas movie night, so we’ll break this down to a few favorites you can watch for an easy night at home.

Mickey’s Christmas Carol

Mickey’s Christmas Carol has a special place in our hearts. It’s a throwback to our childhood and it makes our must-watch list every year. This film, featuring Mickey Mouse as Bob Cratchit, was the first time audiences had seen Mickey in 30 years when it aired in 1983. Bringing to light favorite characters as our ghosts of past, present, and future, Mickey’s Christmas Carol succeeds in sharing the Life Lessons of A Christmas Carol, in a way kids ( and grown-ups) can understand. And of course, with Scrooge McDuck leading the cast as Ebenezer Scrooge, it’s absolutely one of the best re-tellings of this story. Add in the titular soundtrack and memorable songs, and you’ll be singing all season. An absolutely must watch at only 30 minutes, we love this film for an easy before or after-dinner start to our Disney Christmas Movie Night.

Duck the Halls Mickey’s Christmas Special

We are also big fans of the new Mickey shorts and find Duck the Halls from the Mickey Mouse- Merry & Scary DVD to be just the dose of Disney comedy that we need. Especially during the holidays when things start to get a bit crazy and hectic. It’s short and funny and its touch of madness makes us feel like we’re actually not doing too bad during the holiday season. From the plight of Donald Duck’s need to migrate south for the winter and his desire to stay with Mickey for his first Christmas, the mayhem unfolds with festive delight. This holiday cartoon comes with a list of things to do for the holidays that everyone can aspire to!
