When families visit Walt Disney World with kids, they usually skip Epcot Park. Which is a shame, because there are so many great things for Kids to do at EPCOT, that families simply cannot do in any other park. And the Flower and Garden Festival is one of them. As such, we thought it about time to share 10 Kid Firendly things to do at the Disney Flower and Garden Festival for kids this year.

Okay, so in addition to all the kid-friendly things at the Flower and Garden Festival, there are a few other must-do things in EPCOT to make time for. From the Frozen Ever After Ride, Remy’s Rataouille Adventure, and Three Caballeros Gran Tour Fiesta Boat Ride to the KidCot Game, there is so much to do! And, if you want to dine with the princesses, just head to Akershus in Norway. In addition to the lineup here, be sure to check out all the fun things to do with kids in EPCOT Park; there’s more to do than you think!

Grab a Festival Passport

At Walt Disney World, the EPCOT Festivals are not only included in your park ticket cost, but also offer up a Festival Passport Booklet you can grab at the front of the park on your way in. Featuring a full list of Flower and Garden Topiaries, Gardens and what Food you can find at each booth, this little booklet is a MUST HAVE! Be sure to grab at least one so you can check off things as you go.

See the Disney Character Topiaries

Across the park you can find Disney Character Topiaries from Disney films, created with flowers, plants, and succulents. Artfully crafted by the Disney Horticulture team, these topiaries stay fresh for months throughout this 3-month festival. Be Sure to Grab a Festival Passport, so you can check them off like a scavenger hunt as you find them. Disney Pro Tip: Each World Showcase Country features the Disney Character associated with that country. As a result, you’ll see Snow White in Germany, Belle in France, Winnie the Pooh in the UK and so on.

Explore Pluto’s Pet-Friendly Garden

Do you have pets? Have the kids help you make a pet friendly garden at home. Kids can pop by this garden to learn about pet-friendly gardening—inspired by Mickey’s best pal, Pluto. Located in World Nature, near Nemo and Friends. Everything from which plants are safe for your pup, to safely spending time together in the yard are featured.

Roam the Wildlife Crossing Garden

Why not help your child learn more about wildlife in the garden? Chances are your yard has all sorts of widlife from squirrels to birds. Learn how animals safely roam at this garden inspired by the new Disney and Pixar film Hoppers. – Near Communicore Hall in World Celebration.

Head to the Butterfly House

One of the coolest things for kids at the Flower and Garden Festival is the Butterfly house! Walk through a special entrance into a world of butterflies of all kinds! You can find them on plants, flowers and trees within the greenhouse, and even see some emerge from its chrysalis. Be sure to chekc your clothes before you leave, as sometimes Butterflies will land on you during the walk through. Closes at dusk.

Play at the Camp Get Out ’N’ Play Garden

Need to shake the sillies out? Kids can jump around like crazy at the Camp Get Out ’N’ Play Garden, near the Creations shop. This park like setting features a camp-themed garden where kids can jump, play, and climb.

Find Hidden Fairy Gardens

Do you have a fan of Tinkerbell in the house? You can find an array of little fairy houses, often hidden in the back area of the United Kingdom are of EPCOT. Have kids search for as many houses they can find. All made of natural materials, you can even get inspired to make a fairy house for your own garden at home. We were also super excited to see the Flower and Garden Festival mini village in the Train display near Germany added to the miniature train village. Keep an eye out for these extra detailed sections of the festival.

Do the Disney Easter Egg Hunt Game

If you’re visiting around Easter time, be sure to play the EPCOT Flower and Garden Egg Stravaganza Game. Disney only has these bunnies out for a limited time. Everyone from Rabbit to Judy Hops to Thumper can be found among the gardens across the park. Just grab a gameboard from the gift shops or a kiosk to get started. Prizes have included plastic eggs, cups, bowls, patches and more. Easter is Sunday April 5, 2026, but this game usually runs from the beginning of the festival until just past Easter. Check out everything happening for Easter at Walt Disney World.

Disney Easter Bunnies and Rabbits included in the Easter Egg Hunt are White Rabbit (Alice in Wonderland), Rabbit (Winnie the Pooh), Bean Bunny (The Muppets), March Hare (Alice in Wonderland), Thumper (Bambi), Judy Hopps (Zootopia), Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Miss Bunny (Bambi), Ducky (Toy Story 4), Bunny (Toy Story 4), Skippy (Robin Hood), Jackalope (Boundin’) and Alec Azam (Presto).

Find Spike the Bee in the Gardens

The Spike the Bee’s Pollen-Nation Exploration Scavenger Hunt Game features all the plants that bees use for pollination. With Spike hidden in the gardens throughout the World Showcase, simply see where you can find him. He’ll be near a designated pollinator plant so you can learn all about them. This is one of our favorite games to play. And unlike Remy at the Food and Wine Festival, Spike is much easier to find, and perfect for kids searching.

If you’ve taken your child out of school or adding some Disney Homeschool Curriculum to your day, Pollinator Plans make for a great conservation science lesson. Pollinator plants included in the Spike the Bee Game include Arabian Jasmine, Salvia, Canna, Camellia, Rose, Pepper, Iris, Magnolia, Basil, Echeveria, Sunflower, Impatiens, and Tomato.

Kid Friendly Food

Another suprise for most parents is that the Flower and Garden Festival has TONS of great food at the festival kids will actually eat! Just check out the Flower and Garden Festival Menus in the Festival Passport for the Kid-Friendly designated foods so you can make sure to stop at the right outdoor kitchens. And of course, there are also a bunch of Kid Friendly Disney Snacks at EPCOT too.
