Christmas at Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Christmas at Walt Disney World is always a magical time. There’s so much to see and do! And if you’re looking for a way to escape the crowds while still getting a dose of that holiday magic, look no further than exploring the Disney Resorts at Christmastime. Here’s a look at Christmas at Beach Club Resort!

With Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Festival of Holidays at EPCOT, the Merry Menagerie at Animal Kingdom, and the newest event, Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios, there’s so much to see and do. But if you’re looking to slow down and take a break from the crowds, we recommend visiting the resorts during the holidays. Not only are they free to visit, but they each offer something unique.  It’s a great way to break up your time a little bit from the chaos of the Parks.

Christmas at Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Disney’s Beach Club Resort is often a fan favorite at Walt Disney World. With its laid-back beachy vibe, its serene atmosphere, and its close proximity to EPCOT, it’s easy to see why. The theming is relaxed and whimsical. And Christmas at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is themed to match. With glittering ornaments in blues and silvers, this resort is stunning during the holiday season. And from that, they are home to the Christmas Gingerbread Carousel that graces the main lobby each year.

The Gingerbread Display at Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Walt Disney World hosts some amazing Gingerbread Displays at Christmastime.  We love being able to visit each resort to see these creations. But the Gingerbread Carousel at Beach Club Resort is one of our all-time favorites. Not only is it huge, but it actually rotates! It’s such a unique display and we highly recommend adding it to your Disney Holiday trip if you can! The theme changes each year, but it’s also a delight to see.

In addition, the display includes a small holiday goodie counter as well, where you can buy gingerbread treats and other holiday snacks right in the lobby. It’s such a great way to spend some time outside of the Parks during the holiday season.

Beach Club Resort’s Christmas Tree really takes a back seat to the Gingerbread Carousel. But it’s still quite beautiful! With glittery accents, twinkling lights and seahorses and starfish ornaments on the tree, it’s a perfect accent to the light and breezy lobby. And adds just enough sparkle to the resort for Christmas.

In addition to the holiday treat counter in the lobby, you can also find some fun Disney Christmas snacks at the resort’s quick service location, Beach Club Marketplace. They don’t often have the most elaborate snacks at their quick service location. But if you’re looking for something small and festive, you can usually find some standard goodies. In addition to that, Beaches and Cream often come out with a Christmas-themed milkshake during the holiday season.

Like all of the Disney Resorts, you can easily find holiday merch right in the resort’s gift shop. Sometimes they even have Beach Club specific merchandise for the holidays, so it’s good to keep an eye out for that as well! The resort gift shop at Beach Club Resort is the same as their quick service, Beach Club Marketplace.

How to get to Disney’s Beach Club Resort

One of the best things about Disney’s Beach Club Resort is how easy it is to get to! Located on Disney’s Boardwalk, it’s just through the back entrance of EPCOT. If you’re a guest for the day at EPCOT, head to the International Gateway, which is located between France and the UK pavilions in the World Showcase. Leave through the back entrance. And the Beach Club Resort is the first resort you’ll see! Alternatively, you can also easily take the Skyliner from any Skyliner Resort to EPCOT. And instead of turning left and going toward the entrance of the Park, you’ll turn right instead. Easy! And if that’s also not an option for you, you can simply take a Disney bus from Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, or Disney Springs.

You can also drive and attempt to Park at any of the Boardwalk Resorts, but just be aware that Disney has started cracking down on who can and cannot park at many resorts. Especially any resort that has easy access to the Parks. So if you see any tips on social media to park at Disney’s Beach Club Resort to see the Christmas decorations or use it to walk over to EPCOT, just be aware you may be turned away by security when you arrive unless you’re a resort guest or have a dining reservation. Have you been to Disney’s Beach Club for Christmas? If not, we highly recommend it on your next trip!
