What’s New on Disney+ Shows and Movies Schedule

As Disney+ continues to offer content across all it’s franchises, one thing is for certain, keeping track of the Disney Plus Release Schedule is a mammoth task. But is it anything you want to watch? In this post we’re sharing the slew of New Movies on Disney Plus, Upcoming Releases, new Disney+ series and more. Separated by month, here you can find the Disney Plus Lineup for everything coming to Disney+ throughout the year. From Disney Channel favorites to new series, new Disney films, and Disney Plus+ Original content, here is what you can find coming soon to Disney Plus. 

This post contains a constantly updated list of Upcoming Disney Movies, and Upcoming Disney Plus Releases. Focused primarily on Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar franchises, we are not including much Fox content here. Meant for the Disney entertainment consumer, we hope this list gives you an idea of when to expect in the way of New Disney+ Movies, and What New Shows on Disney Plus you can add to your watchlist. New Disney+ Plus Releases 2024

Keen to build out miraculous stories, that span worlds, New Disney Plus shows on the streaming service includes Disney Plus+ Original Series like Percy Jackson and the Olympians, alongside BBC darling, Doctor Who, and National Geographic’s new series, Science Fair. These join a plethora of upcoming Disney Plus Shows in 2024. We’re sharing all of them in the post. 

New Disney Channel Shows

Disney Channel Original Series can also be found on Disney Plus. Often airing one day after the Disney Channel Premiere, shows like the Villains of Valley View, The Ghost and Molly McGee and others are all in the lineup. 

New Disney Movies on Disney+ Plus

As the home of all sorts of content you can only get on Disney Plus, the new Disney Plus Movies are well worth keeping tabs on. 2024 promises several new movies coming to Disney Plus that will go straight to the platform. And major Disney films from the theaters often arriving within a few months from the theatrical release window. As such, new Disney Movies on Disney Plus include the newest live action remake, The Little Mermaid, Wish, and Indiana Jones Dial of Destiny. 

New Movies on Disney+ Plus for Kids

Disney movie releases 2024 will pull from Disney Channel Original Movies as well as Disney Junior specials and content. And Disney’s Wish will be on Disney + in early 2024. While certain films like Inside Out 2, and Mufasa are also destined for Disney Plus there is no list yet of new animated Disney movies headed to Disney+.

Disney+ Plus Schedule 2024

New Disney Plus shows in 2024 are on the way but will be touch and go for a bit, given that so many of them depended on wrapping up production in 2023, prior to the Writer and Actor union strikes. That said, this list may be changing quite a bit. But, as always we’ll keep tabs on the news to update the dates as needed.

What’s coming to Disney+ in July 2024? July is all about sun, sand, and some summer lovin. Here’s everything you can find on Disney Plus. Deadpool 3 arrives in theaters July 26, 2024, but you can catch up on all the Marvel movies on Disney+ Plus while you’re waiting for it to come to streaming.

Bluey Minisodes on Disney+

SuperKitties: Su-Purr Adventures

SYNOPSIS: “SuperKitties: Su-Purr Adventures” is a new short-form series inspired by 2023’s No. 1 new preschool series, “SuperKitties.” It features Bitsy, Ginny, Sparks and Buddy as they showcase their superhero skills and kitty kindness that they use to work together as a team to make their town of Kittydale a great place to live.

Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures Season 2

OceanXplorer

The fall season on Disney+ Plus sees a variety of shows with seasons returning and a few new faces for the Fall television lineup. And just in time for the spooky fall season we finally get a look at a scary witch-focused, ( renamed more than times than we can count ) Agatha All Along, taking place after the events of WandaVision.

What’s New on Disney+ Plus December 2024

Season’s Greetings! December brings loads of Disney Christmas Movies on Disney+ Plus, and Disney Channel Christmas Shows too! Check out everything coming to Disney+ Plus in December. 

While many of these upcoming Disney Plus releases don’t yet have release dates, we know they’re in the works. With production stills, IMDB synopsis cards and cast lineups, we’ll be adding the info as it’s released! For now take a look at all the New Disney Movies on Disney Plus that are coming to platform in 2024. From animated reboots, to Disney series, to Star Wars, Marvel and Disney + Original Movies. Here’s the list even though release dates are undetermined. 

Lilo & Stitch Live Action – Disney Plus+

In the works for Disney Plus, a live-action remake of Lilo and Stitch welcomes returning stars from the original. Plotline and characters seem the same as the Disney Animated Movie, although new characters, Mrs. Kekoa and Tūtū are also included in the lineup. This Lilo and Stitch Live Action Disney Movie is one of the New Movies on Disney Plus+ coming soon.
