Staying at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Hotel is always a treat. Tucked away on the Disney Boardwalk, this Disney Deluxe Resort is often less crowded and less chaotic than others we’ve visited. And, it’s location makes it a perfect choice if you’re wanting a Disney Hotel within walking distance of EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. 

Additionally, since the Belle Vue Lounge is technically just a lounge space situated on the main floor of the Boardwalk Inn, guests can have access to the lounge all day. Even when it’s not open! Stuffed with books, games, and table top chess, you can cozy up on the sofas, watch television and head out onto the balcony, filled with rockers. A true getaway space, the Belle Vue Lounge is perfect to just sit back and relax.

When is the Belle Vue Lounge at Boardwalk Inn Resort Open?

Belle Vue Lounge at Disney Boardwalk Inn Resort is open from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am daily and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The actual space of the lounge is open all day to both guests and visitors, offering games to play, books to browse,  television, and a living room like setting. 

Belle Vue Lounge Atmosphere

Our original reason for trying the Belle Vue Lounge at Disney was the promise of a themed boardwalk hotel lounge from the 30’s with a quaint and charming vibe. With old-time radio music and shows, chess tables, old books, and vintage board games. All lined up ready to be played, we loved the idea of this super kid-friendly location for lounging and fancy drinks at night. 

If you’re fortunate enough to have a gorgeous morning or evening there is also a covered porch for lounging and eating outside. Located through the double French doors of the lounge. What we liked most about the Belle Vue Lounge was that it is super low-key. Since most people don’t know about this little lounge, we didn’t have to contest with crowds, lines, or not finding a table. And because the area opens at 6:30am we were able to stumble in still wearing pajamas, settle in on the sofa or balcony, and relax.

The Belle Vue Lounge Menu mainly consists of classic drinks from the 1930s. Classic Tom Collins, Old Fashioned, Manhattans, and Negronis are all on the menu. Offering specialty cocktails, sparking wines, sangria, wine, whiskey, and beer, there is a lot to choose from; more than you would expect from a little lounge. Specialty cocktails range from $15- $18 each, which is on par with most lounges across Disney World. Sangrias are $13, Scotch and Bourbon range from $14- $250 depending on what you get.  Also offered are cognac, rum, port, and tequilas. Mocktails at Belle Vue Lounge

If you’re looking for mocktails at Belle Vue Lounge at Disney we most like that the non-alcoholic specialties are more than just lemonade! You can get a couple of drinks that include Lyre’s nonalcoholic spirits, which are always a treat and great for tweens and teens, and adults looking for Mocktails at Disney World. Know that you can find this same mocktail lineup at Scat Cat’s Club Lounge, Ale and Compass Lounge and several others throughout Disney World. Because it’s always nice to have something a little special during your Disney trip. Mocktails here range from $6-$12 each.

Does Belle Vue Lounge Serve Food?

Belle Vue Lounge at Disney does not serve food. As one of the many restaurants connected to Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, there are however, many places to grab a meal, appetizer or snack. Just down the hall, off the main lobby of the Boardwalk Inn, is Carousel Coffee. This little Disney coffee shop offers crumb cake, specialty coffees, Danish and muffins. For more substantial food, you can try Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Restaurants, which are all accessible from Disney Boardwalk entrances outside the hotel and include Trattoria al Forno, and Disney’s Boardwalk Deli. 

Where Can I get Breakfast at Boardwalk Inn Resort?

Breakfast at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is served at Disney’s Boardwalk Deli. Accessible from it’s outside entrance on the Disney Boardwalk this is also the location for the Disney Refillable Mug location. In addition to being able to refill your Disney Mug, you can grab a variety of breakfast items at Boardwalk Deli. Including things like Bagel Breakfast sandwiches, and bakery specialties like Cinnamon Rolls and Croissants, be sure to check out the Disney Boardwalk Deli Menu for all the options. 

Review of Belle Vue Lounge at Disney

All in all, we really liked the Disney Boardwalk Inn, and loved that Belle Vue Lounge offered a getaway space for lounging and relaxation. We used this low-traffic space for playing games and reading during the day and grabbing a drink at night. If you’re looking for something grander you’ll probably be happier at one of the many other Disney Lounges at Walt Disney World. Enchanted Rose at Grand Floridian Resort and Dahlia Lounge at Coronado Springs are very upscale and offer a more upscale experience. But we reveled in the fact that we weren’t standing in lines, or fighting crowds as we would have been at other resorts.

We also loved that it was easy to get to on any day that we were visiting EPCOT or Hollywood Studios. Without the struggle of having to grab bus service, it make the experience all the more enjoyable for times when we weren’t staying at the resort. We loved that you can simply walk in, even if you were just visiting the Boardwalk area. And since there are board games at the ready here, you can also indulge in an afternoon break here, or have a place to relax if you get caught at Disney in the Rain.  Hopefully this post has been helpful in helping you decide the next place at Disney World you want to grab a drink!
