The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival has officially started, so if you’re traveling to this festival with kids, you’ll be happy to know that there are more kid-friendly things to do at The Flower and Garden Festival than ever! Check out all the best activities if you’re visiting the Flower and Garden Festival with Kids.
We love the Flower and Garden Festival for many reasons. The flowers are in bloom, bringing a beautiful array of colors to Epcot, there are fun and colorful new foods to take in and it just feels like Spring! Which, for us, is truly magical. So pack up the kids and get out of the house for all the Flower and Garden festival fun!
Fun foods for kids at the Flower and Garden Festival
One of our favorite parts about the festivals at Epcot is the food booths! And to help you navigate kid-friendly foods, just be sure to pick up a Flower and Garden Festival passport and look for the little strawberry next to foods your kids will love. Keep track of your progress during the festival by marking off what you’ve tried. The Flower and Garden Festival has lots of kid-friendly options and we love seeing the new options added every year.
Interactive Play Areas
Kids will love these little play gardens located throughout the Flower and Garden Festival. There are two play areas available during the festival. Bo Peep’s Playtime Training Grounds is located along the Test Track Walkway and features Bo Peep and her sheep! And lucky for parents, there are places for you to sit and relax while they have fun and burn off some energy.
The Playfull Garden hosted by AdventHealth is located by the Imagination Walkway. This play space for kids at the Flower and Garden Festival is focused on nutrition and wellness and we think little ones will love having this extra play area during this year’s festival.
Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration Game
We love the little scavenger hunts at the Epcot Festival. This year at the Flower and Garden Festival, adults and kids alike can hunt for Spike, the busy bee behind the pollination of the festival! Pick up your scavenger hunt map at a participating kiosk or at the Port of Entry and search for him throughout the flower beds of the festival! Once you’ve found him in all of the designated areas around the festival, be sure to collect your prize!
Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt
If you’re lucky enough to be at the festival early in the season you and your kids can participate in the Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt. This scavenger hunt is similar to the one previously mentioned, except this time, you’re hunting for Easter eggs! And just like Spike, you can also collect a prize once this Scavenger Hunt is completed!
Goodness Garden Butterfly House
The butterfly house is always a huge hit! Enter a beautiful greenhouse filled with flowers and butterflies and learn all about their life cycles, smell the flowers, and maybe even see a butterfly up close!
As you can see, there are plenty of kid-friendly things to do at the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival! We hope you can make it to this beautiful festival and enjoy all it has to offer!
